Matthew Meyer, DO reviews
5My husband and I see Dr. Meyer and absolutely love him. He's so easy talk to and is just a genuinely nice guy. Moreover, he's an excellent doctor.
Our family has been seeing Matt Meyer as long as he's been at Piper Hill, since Betsy Grybinas left the practice. Not only does he give great medical care, he's an extremely kind and positive person. I laugh with him at each visit. Our entire family sees him, and he has diagnosed things that other doctors might have missed. He's the best doctor we have ever had.
Dr. Meyer was recommended to me by my parents after they referred my husband to him. Prior to Dr. Meyer, I had hopped around a few different PCPs but never felt like anything more than a chart. He is always patient, personable, and happy to answer questions. The wait time at this location is typically less than my experience at other PCP offices, staff are always cheerful and helpful.
Typical "treat the symptoms" Dr. I went to him with a history or severe muscle pain, spasms and cramps.he tried to put me on medicines to diagnose instead of actually testing to see what I may have. He put me on psych meds and told me I had fibromyalgia or similar conditions. NO I didn't. I had Hereditary hemochromatosis with a SEVERE IRON OVERLOAD. A $30 ferritin test would have led him to it. Hereditary hemochromatosis is the MOST COMMON genetic disease. But the deadliest. Why? Because Drs like Matt Meyer treat symptoms and don't look for the cause. Now a few years later I am dealing with the damage the severe iron overload did to my body.
Dr. Meyer is a great doctor plus you never have to wait to see him.
