This vegan BBQ macaroni with seitan from Mattie's Foods in KC is so freaking good. They're really doing the lord's work out here.
Yummy. 10/10 do recommend for vegans and omnivores alike.

Today was my first day buying from Mattie's. I must say that the food was absolutely delicious. It was well worth the trip across the river.

Some of the best food and service you can find in KC, period! Not just best vegan food, it’s amazing compared to all food! I had the Mattie’s Griddle and their cinnamon roll and both were 10/10! I got it to go, but I want to go back and dine in because their restaurant is so nice!

I came here for the first time and I was absolutely blown away by the food quality, the best vegan food I’ve ever had! And they were so fast and kind. I will definitely be here again. I got the Chik Philly and the Brisket Sandwich, I can’t wait to try more menu items!

We were visiting the brewery with a group of friends and we were very hungry. We popped in and were so surprised at the amazing shop! We loved our food and everyone was so nice.

I can not get enough of this space and the energy. I walked in to be greeted by what felt like family. A familiar auntie welcoming me home and into the kitchen. The food was incredible 100 percent vegan, soy free options available. The space was clean and bright and welcoming. Worth it! Just for the sheer joy of being there let alone the fantastic taste of this food.

My family and I love this restaurant and truly enjoy their desserts. When I asked if that could create a “Vegan-safe”sweets bar for our wedding, the response was absolutely. Every dessert we’ve had was delicious, so we asked for a vegan wedding cake. First the reply was “We don’t make wedding cakes” then one of the Sisters sent a pic of a “Naked” cake with cupcakes made for a family member as her only attempt. It was exactly the look/vibe that matches our outdoor wedding. Less than 5% of our guest are Vegetarian or Vegan and I’m a Plantbased Chef with the highest standards for flavors & presentation. Mattie’s exceeded my expectations and gave us a special wedding cake + cupcakes with an assortment of decadent desserts!

We recently switched to a healthier Mindset of eating. Looking up local dine in options and Maddie's came up. The reviews are phenomenal for a reason! The sausage breakfast sandwich is ridiculous! Everything my fork touched was delicious.

OMG! If I could give them 6 Star's I would! Excellent food and even better staff. Everything is absolutely delicious, fresh, and hot!

Lol mannnn, their food is so fire bro. I’m trying to go back vegan/vegetarian and this place is perfect for those who are attempting to ease into eating healthier foods. On top of that, they serve many staple comfort foods that honestly taste better than many of the real things. 10/10 would recommend and will be back!
