Had an issue with a car dealership not returning my warranty refund & Teresa & Tommi was on it from the jump. They reached out to the dealership & ooo boy the dealership mailing check out first thing in the am thanks again Tommie & teresa for handling this matter.

I have been with Mazuma for decades now. I've always had a good experience with them. Friendly staff. Recently I got scammed and was at my wits end because it was over the weekend and I had to wait 2 days. When I went in on Monday Teresa Jones helped me. She understood and took care of me right away. By the time she was finished I called her Dr Teresa because all of my stress seemed to immediately go away. I went back a couple of days later because I had some more questions. I met Maria Arellano-Hodges. She was great too and took care of me right away. Gave me some much needed advice. I would highly recommend this branch of Mazuma.

I've had bad experiences depositing checks and getting a mortgage. Otherwise they're good.

They scolded my wife about depositing a check made out to her new last name. My dad sent my kids some small checks for Christmas, and Mazuma wouldn't deposit them because my toddlers didn't have a bank account.

They put me through excessive hassles when I recently got a mortgage. They needed multiple statements from my job about my income, despite all my direct deposits going to them. They had me wait and pay for an appraisal in a scenario where my realtor said it's never necessary for other banks. They kindly locked in my interest rate at the 20 year peak.

Their fraud detection process is frustrating. If you hit their fraud detection with a debit card purchase, it takes minutes of waiting (standing at the front of a line in a store!) for them to call you and get it approved. It would be better if they used SMS messages or a notification like other banks.

I appreciate the Mazuma team at Lee's Summit East. Tracy Molinaro was my relationship advisor and she was very knowledgeable and patient. She helped me open my first account there and I can say it was a great customer service experience. There are other financial institutions to choose from but I am so glad I chose Mazuma.

I have been a mazuma credit union for more than 20 years. I have financed vehicles and had personal loans. The members are always friendly and willing. Even with conducting regular banking needs. Today, I had the pleasure of speaking with Dee Ludwig regarding a auto loan inquiry. She address so many available options that would bring balance and beneficial to my current financial needs. For instance: home equity, credit card consolidation, savings cd's, etc. She listened to my concerns that brought me in and provided possible additional available resource. Thanks, Dee. I had a wonderful experience at your bank and I attribute 99% of this to an employee Tommi Scott, she was wonderful and went beyond her duties to walk me thru the auto loan process and she was VERY patient with me.
Shes the reason I'll do all banking issues with Mazuma from here on out.

I got hacked I showed up Monday Morning and Dee took care of everything and got me cash a debit card and got my new account set up same day i really appreciate this branch and everybody is so helpful

Faith is amazing! I had my accounts in a mess and she took the time to take excellent care of me. She walked me through all with kindness and patience. She is a true asset to Mazuma and it’s customers. Give that girl a raise!

Victoria was such a great help on explaining my savings account and auto loan! Great attitude and attentive service! Was very patient! Even printed off my future payments so I can cross them off as I go! Which is so extremely helpful with this mom brain of mine! Hopefully I can get her each time!

I’m not one to rate business bad BUT this is a long time coming. I banked with Mazuma for nearly 10 years and in recent times (I feel like since covid began mainly) they have been trash. They simply do not care about you, you are just a number to them. Excessive fees and will hold a check that has cleared another bank in 2 days for 10 so they can make money off it! Im so happy to be banking with Hawthorne now! They will make a call and do whatever they need to do to ensure your satisfaction. No long holds or anything. Don’t go to Mazuma!
