McAlister's Deli, Springfield MO

The Hillbilly and Mrs. HB were in the mood for some good sweet tea, so we stopped in to McAlister's for lunch. We were pleased with the quick service and friendly staff.
Only trouble is, I was so hungry, I forgot to take a picture of my Club Sandwich. D'oh!

First time coming here and I was very happy with it! The food was very delicious and I enjoyed it a lot! It's a little high priced for what you get honestly, the portions are pretty small for the overall price. But the quality of the food is great and I would definitely like to try it again down the road. Also Broccoli cheddar soup for the win! It's incredible!

With restaurant prices rising due to economic reasons and covid you know you will pay more for the same food. However the potato soup I got today was as watery as dishwater and had a comparable taste. Wake up people with so many restaurants offering potato soup there are no reasons to purchase this slop when I can drive a few blocks for much better.

McAlister’s on W Battlefield generously provided tea for one of our Springfield schools for teacher/staff appreciation week. They are always kind and helpful at this location. Thank you for your community support, McAlister’s!

Had the roast beef sandwich-cold and dry. I asked for NO PICKLE-a simple request as I hate them, what did they do? Gave me a pickle with juice running all over my plate so my chips were ruined. They have really gone down hill since first coming to town. It will be a long time beforebI go back

My friend loved her salad and lemonade. I ordered sweet tea and their nachos that come with chili.that's the coldest plate of chili nachos I've ever been served. I literally could touch the chili with my finger the moment it got to my table and it was cold.

This place has great food and a nice environment. I could easily see it opening early as a nice actual coffee place, or being a nice whiskey place at night, but alas, it's just an amazing sandwich place.

First time EVER dining at a McAlister’s Deli. This place is located in the heart of medical facilities. It was lunch time and this place was extremely busy with medical personnel. I think were the only one not wearing an ID badge or on a lunch break.

It would have been nice if the female taking our order asked if we had been to a McAlister’s. She wasn’t rude just not informative. We had to ask how things work with ordering and receiving our food. In my mind, we would not have stood there longer than she wanted us to answering questions, is she took the initiative in customer service.

I was impressed as I am not a big deli food person. We ordered the Italian and Tortilla Soup and Ham & cheese with chips. I was disappointed they did not have a Sprite or Sierra Mist as a drink choice. I ordered a tea vs the choice of drinks. I should have just gotten water.

Your food is delivered to your table in manner.

Now that I have eaten at a McAlister’s, I will try another one in my home town once it opens.

My family went in this evening. They were out of Mac and cheese, almost all of the chips, and AFTER we ordered kids meals I checked the bags. The kids cookies I paid for were not in the bag. Then I was told they couldn’t give them to me because they had nothing to put them in.
I was very unsatisfied with this location.

The service at this location is always very friendly. Sometimes chains have a tendency to have better or worse food at varying locations, but this one always has good food. The salads are delicious and fresh, and their potato salad is the best. They’ve been working on a repair/remodel for several months now which is frustrating but they do have plenty of seating and it’s usually very clean. The lemonade and sweet tea are always exceptional at this location too.

I call in about 5 minutes before and it is always ready when I show up. I believe the prices are great.

I did an online order and stopped in to pick up our lunch.
Unfortunately it looks like we got yesterdays left overs instead.

I am the biggest fan of the tortilla soup! And also any of the steak sandwich options are great if you sub it with a wrap!

They always have the most amazing staff! The restaurant is always so clean and you can tell the managers and staff really care.

Very, Nice & clean place, lots of people, every time. But that just tells u something!

Just wanted to send a special thank you to the awesome afternoon staff at this location! I accidentally sent my mobile order to a different location. Instead of making my husband drive across town, the manager at this store said no problem at all, she called the other store and had them cancel the order and quickly made our order here. My husband couldn't say enough about how kind they were and offered to do it immediately!
