Brandy waited on us - no, that’s not quite right - we waited on her. Waited for 5 minutes, then had to ask if she would take our dinner order, which set the tone for the evening: S L O W, despite being a Wednesday night and not remotely busy. Never received the mushroom appetizer we ordered. Every interaction with Brandy was like we were interrupting her conversations with the other waitresses. Drinks were great, food was good (can’t speak to the mushrooms, of course). Would not recommend and will never go back.

Thursday Night, the food is awful. Even French fries were under cooked.
We came into to town to eat at this amazing BBQ place in town to find out they closed down, unfortunately.

This was the only place we could find, hungry on motorcycles passing through.

We were in town for a two night stay. We had looked at the reviews of the restaurants in this small town before the trip. We selected this restaurant as the one we wanted to visit on our wedding anniversary which the little trip was celebrating. We drove by the place early in the day and were not impressed by the downtown storefront with a simple sign over the door. It just looked like it may not even be open or in business anymore. But later in the day we went by to check and see if I could get inside with my power wheelchair. My wife went in and talked to a very friendly server that answered our questions. And when my wife came back out she said it looked great to her. We had an awesome anniversary celebration meal thanks to the friendly and helpful people. It was packed with locals on a Wednesday evening with people coming in to pick up carryout as well all evening long.

Best bartender/waitress, hands down, is Ashley! She’s great with her customers and is always kind and happy. Lacy is top notch too! Adore seeing both of them anytime I go in to eat dinner or grab drinks with friends.

Looking for a cold beer and walked into McCorkle's. Found what we were looking for. Ashley was amazing, Not only did she bring us a cold beer she made us feel at home and as if we were long time friends. If she ever comes to Texas we may not let her leave.

Jamie provided excellent service. We were sat in the section of an alternative server, who after being sat, did not attend to our needs. Jamie stepped on, got our drinks, too our order, brought our food and did a great job. Had it not been for her, we would have got up and left.

This is a really neat Bar and Grill! Delicious food, and good service! The Sweet Tea was good too. Salad was fresh and crunchy. Will be going back!

I had the Reuben sandwich and it was incredible. The homemade ranch dressing and blue cheese dressing was good.

I was part of the Clinton County Republican Party Group that reserved the banquet room a week ago. The service was above and beyond. Will return soon and often!

Best place in Cameron to grab a drink or a meal! Great place to make new friends if youre into that kinda thing.

We had tenderloin sandwiches that were huge and really good. The steak fries were a little under done but good. Sweet tea was very sweet. A lot of food for the money. A little slow around lunch. Definitely has bar bathrooms though. They really need updated.

There was a local named Dallas who was bragging about how powerful his 4-Wheeler is. He pulled out his fez, and proudly claimed to be a member of the Shriners. I enjoyed the clean as hell bathrooms. Staff was friendly. Someone round-house kicked another patron back to the Ming Dynasty. It was incredible. They fry everything. One of the bartenders (named Mallory?) was outstanding. Again, the bathrooms were incredible. Would definitely use them again. 1,2, or even #3 would be accommodated.

Service was friendly and prompt. Food was excellent, and the bottled beer was ice cold.
Our waitress was apparently new (unbeknownst to us, because she was very good), so 2 different people (management and/or owner?) came by our table to inquire as to how she had done. We were very impressed with the fact that they actually place importance on good customer service in this day and age.
We will be repeat customers.
