I had to rate them a 1 star because I had no way of rating a zero. However I live in the Murphy Park Apartments. One lady in the office (Micha) is nice. The other lady is mean and always seem to be bothered when I enter the office. She alway say its only two of us here in office and they can only do so much. Lady 3 of us live in my apt and I'm the only one with a job. Enough with the excuses. You want your rent money on time. I have had The same maintenance orders for well over two years. I went into the office today and asked about my air that has been out for 6 months. I was told I will not be getting no air until next yearDishwasher that has never been usable the whole time I've lived here. Dryer that doesn't work & upstairs bathroom sink that has no water pressure. I have prayed that God step in and bless my children and I with the respect we deserve. Do not rent from them! They do not care! They do not care! They do not care about their tenants!

Why can't we have pets at The jazz district apartments in Kansas City, Missouri. Everyone has pets now days, at least we should be able to have small pets and cats. I've been wit u all for 11yrs and I want a pet, I really like where I live.please take time to read and respond.

ALL IT TAKES ARE A FEW RUDE, IGNORANT, WANNA PROVE OR FLEX THEIR WEIGHT PEOPLE TO MESS IT UP FOR THIS COMPANY AS A WHOLE. BUT HONESTLY THROW THE WHOLE COMPANY AWAY! PROPERTY MANAGERS ARE RUDE AND LIARS. MAINTENCE IS SLOW, & THEY MIGHT BE THE NICEST PEOPLE ON THE PROPERTY OF LONGFELLOWHEIGHTS APTS. THAT PLACE IS TRASH DONT WASTE TIME OR MONEY MOVING IN. LEAH IS RUDE AND JASON IS A LIAR. WHAT A COMBO. SAD! BBB HERE I COME EVERYDAY UNTIL SOMETHING GETS DONE!

I hvnt heard from no one frm McCormack Baron co. I HV bn calling and leaving msgs for Abt 2 wks now still no response. I'm very angry tht thy Murphy park apts aren't staying on top of their maintenance and bizness

Moved to one of their properties 3010 Apartments on Washington avenue Sept. 2018. After moving here four months later management was coaching a tenant next door which they have very thin walls to harass, stalk, invade my privacy every night and weekend, playing loud music or slamming cabinets doors and pushing furniture after hours. Later management retaliated against me underhandedly for making complaints about the tenant next door. Thus by making sure I didn’t have heat, had my 2018 car scratched and dents by kicking it by tenants they alliance with. Drugs on the premises constantly, and now under new management do nothing about it but with a previous office manager did evict a tenant for smoking marijuana from the premises this tenant flat out told me March 2020. But certain tenants management will use to create a dangerous environment upon to illegally evict them. I went without heat for a year, in October I informed new management but the temporary staff sent me a letter stating due to the COVID they are not allowed to enter my unit. I’m without adequate heating so I contacted Civil Rights Enforcement and they sided with 3010 with a bias investigation as if they may have some sort of prior relationship. Management even tried to pin a murder upon me that occurred and I had nothing to do with that persons life. Just known him through affiliation as neighbors. Janelle Mack (temporary staff) kept the business card from me that the investigation unit put in my door. Management couldn’t tell me so another tenant told me everything and management told me to my face she confronted him for telling me. Now management has tenants not talking to me. That’s when in July I was denied maintenance service and any other service here. It only got worse when Civil Rights Enforcement got involved it seems they would assist them to keep doing underhanded abuse towards me. After moving in new tenants next door management used them to harass, making ungodly loud banging, drugs, cursing and screaming at me through the wall. Intentionally invading my private phone calls have tenants next door continually directly attack me everyday using other methods by means of these tenants to force me off the premises. Management Diane Benz and Nicole McCoy ignored all complaints but side with next door every time. Not only tenants next door management plotted to have apt 212 and 206 to make loud noise waking me every night or apt 206 screaming loud after 10 pm every night. I’ve tried on several occasions to speak with management but each time I do I’m retaliated against by changing my mailbox lock so I cannot get my mail, having tenants turn the elevator off once I’m home or call the police on tenants intrusive loud banging. Have a maintenance man open my mail while I’m at work when he suppose to be doing maintenance work going through my personal belongings. This is what 3010 Apartment is about and it only has worsen that the few decent people did leave because management is very unprofessional on all levels to only make your living experience here unbearable. That my only option to be heard is taken them to court for all damages done. Diane Benz has her staff deliberately mistreat me including the new staff she hired. Management has been gaslighting me so to make it appear that I’m crazy but all is recorded and well documented for court. As there are more underhanded abuse done to me that they won’t do to white tenants here at 3010 Apartments.

To whom it may concern I just want say the women that work in the office at Renaissance Place at Grand are a (joke). I have been dealing with trying to rent an apartment sense 12/10/20 only to be told by (Pandora) yesterday
that the apartment that was that I was going to move in was beyond repair at this time and that she didn’t know when it will be repair so I ask her what about another apartment she said that there was no other apartments that was (Tax Credit) from what Tiffany Petty said in her email to me that she had a few left. I was told before it was just something that need it to be patch I was told by one of the maintenance guy that let me see another that was ready. Dealing with all of this is just unprofessional to have one person to tell that my application was completed by (Tiffany Petty) then have (Tanisha) to set up appoint on 2/4/21 to look at the apartment at 3: 30pm which means I had to leave work early I get there and call to let her know that I was there and was told by (Pandora) that had she had emergency that day and had had to leave still haven’t heard back from her now I’m dealing with (Pandora). This is where I had to keep calling because none of them will call you back unless you start writing bad comments about them than they want to start calling you back with more (lies). I have started packing my stuff in boxes thinking that I have this apartment knowing that I will be moving sometime in March or April then I’m told something different. I was told by a tenant who lives there and was told that they do this all the time to people. McCormack you know that this is not right but you all keep letting them do this to people or maybe you all in the office at McCormack work the same you just don’t care either, if all the comments that people are saying about them are the same don’t think there is some truth to it. If the headquarters is here in St.louis why are you all letting them continue to do this why not go visit the office there and see for yourself how it is run. I’m sure that if I keep surfing social media I will contact someone higher up in the company and voice complaints about Renaissance. I’m not a person who’s gives up so quickly especially when I’m done wrong.

Let me start by saying I have never seen such totally unprofessional management as I have with Renaissance Place & Grand. I fill out an application with them, submitted it on 12/21/20 email the property management on the 12/30/20 for a update and was told that my application was complete and she was waiting on few verifications to come back and that she would contact me on Monday 1/4/21 didn't hear from her. I email her on the 1/6/21 nothing email on 1/11/21 nothing. I call the office talk to someone there was told that they will call or send a email to her still nothing to this day. I will still stay on top of this even if I need to email to the top people to let them know the comments people write about this company is true. STILL NO RESPONDS THEY ONLY RESPONDS IF THEY SEE THAT YOU HAVE EMAIL OR MADE A PHONE CALL TO (CORPORATE OFFICE) ABOUT HOW UNPROFESSIONAL THEY ARE. McCORMACK ARE THESE THE TYPE OF PEOPLE THAT YOU WANT TO BE THE FACE OF YOUR COMPANY. THE REAITY SHOW UNDER COVER BOSS NEEDS TO VISIT RENAISSANCE PLACE AT GRAND TO SEE HOW THEY HANDLE BUSINESS THERE MAYBE THEN YOU ALL WILL TAKE THESE COMMENTS SERIOUSLY

I stayed in the renaissance for over 10 years they are unprofessional they have no morals values or integrity. They lie they steal and they also ask the tenant for things for themselves. Mccormack and Baron do not care about their employees And the employees do not have common sense enough to know that they have to live with these peoples. These are the people that they will see at the store in the doctors office and even on the bus stop.be careful of Who toes you step on you never know you might see him again.

No one has gotten back to me about the reissue of my security deposit check! My emails have been ignored along with my calls! It is going on a month and a half and still no one has gotten back to me. It is really frustrating and unprofessional to ignore people. But I guess it's what to be expected when it took a year and a half to properly get my stove fixed when I lived at North Sarah. Your company hires horrible management personnel!

Hello I was approved for an apt months ago and expected to move in on July 31st and today is August 3rd and still being given the runaround. I’ve emailed Head Quarters and Renaissance Pl and was told by Kourtney Williams that the Supv didn’t approve the rent only to find out she was the Manager and know one would give me any information at all to who approves rent so I can contact them. The process has been going on since the middle of May I’ve signed all necessary paperwork needed and was approved months ago. I have hired movers and and have been living out of bags and boxes because everything was packed for my anticipated move on the 31st of July. Not only has it cost me money and my sanity, but it also caused me to loose my deposit at the place I’m still residing. I will not give up, it is wrong and inhuman to treat a ppl this way when we’re already in the middle of a pandemic. I will continue to contact whom ever I need to get this cleared up Immediately.

I just called Quality Hill Apartments to inquire about leasing at your site. I saw it while I was in KC for Superbowl Weekend. I am a Realtor in Dallas, and I also run the social media for the largest med spa in DFW. I went on your website to try and download an application. I was able to do just that. It was for income restricted. I called and spoke with Jillian, and I inquired about unit 101, to which she was rude and said that there are a lot 101's in her apartments, and honestly was a bit hostile for no reason. I tried to explain to her my position and my frame of reference. I saw it on a giant sign outside of Mexican Food restaurant last Saturday night. Then I tried to explain that the only application that is online is for income restricted. She started yelling at me about how to spell the website and that you have not been income restricted for 25 years and if I wanted that, she could give me a referral. She was rude because she thought I was income restricted, which I am NOT. I was just as emphatic back at her though I did not tell her that I make way more than enough money to qualify for your apartment. She called me crazy and hung up on me. I called her back, and she again told me that she would only talk to me if did not sound crazy, and then she hung up on me again. I had her on speaker phone, and my husband was listening. My voice is weak and horse because I cheered the team on to victory in the streets of KC. I would NEVER lease from your company, and I intend to follow up by posting this on every social media site I can think of, and I know them all. Her actions were rude, hostile, discriminatory and just straight up hurt my feelings. No one deserves to be spoken to with that level of disdain.

I have lived in my apartment for 9 years and the management is horrible. I’ve had to paint, replace my own carpeting, and hiring handymen to fix up stuff because the men they have hired for maintenance at the complex all says that they don’t know how to fix things? !? For example my garbage disposal was clogged up and I requested help twice and the maintenance guy said he can’t fix it and wouldn’t even come to my unit to check it out so I hired a handy man from Craigslist that charged me $135 to come check it out and all he had to do was press a red button under the sink to reset the motor and problem solved. Next issue. Stolen rent checks! They only hire staff from temp agencies so we haven’t had a real manager in 5-6 years since Coltyce Sanders in which he was fired for calling out the regional manager at the time for taking tenants rental checks straight from the drop box. I have had to make three police reports over the years for my checks being cashed in fraud. Also I have had several vandalism’s situations which forced me to sell my car because of being so frustrated with my car insurance going up to hire rates because of the neglect of the staff onsite. I park d my car directly in front of the office where cameras are located and when I went to the office to complain about vandalism from possible neighbors they (temps not real staff) would ask me to fill out a report and they would pull the footage. They would dodge my calls and emails for months until I got the police to pay the office a visit and then the police got access to the footage in which they made several arrest. The owners should be ashamed of themselves and there greed because most people here really have no other options and are being taken advantage of because of there economic situations.

This company took over a relatively decent building of 240 apartments. They ran it into the ground in less than a year. They have absolutely NO interest in running a clean, honest establishment. Each individual in the office tells a different story or excuse. I was told toxic mold was pet dander from my cats. Don’t waste your efforts on this company or any properties they own!
