14Okay, Waynesville McDonald's, what's the deal? I stopped in at McDonald's 7/28/23. I ordered two mcdoubles and two small fries, there are three, that's right just three cars in front of me. I ended up driving away from the drive thru because we'd sat there for fifteen minutes and nothing was happening. Seriously, it's supposed to be fast food not whenever you get around to it. A coworker of mine also came back from her lunch with McDonald's bag full of food because she had waited damn near the ENTIRE lunch HOUR to receive her food. Y'all are getting lazy and slow. Y'all need to step it up or find employees that will. It's completely pathetic that folks are waiting that long for something they want, not need. I think ya'll need to remember that.
They're always fast and the food is almost always fresh, their ice cream machine actually works, they still have the chocolate chip cookie unlike other locations, and the chicken nuggets are bussin bussin.
Ordered "a number two with a large coke. " rang me up for just the breakfast sandwich and a large coke. If you order a specific number, you are asking for the combo. So I didn't get a hash brown. Why do this?
They were 10 mins late opening. Then rang my drink in wrong so when I tried to use a drive thru code (coupon) it didn’t work. You can’t use a new code for 15 mins so they said I just have to pay full price.
Posted hours are closes at 11.
I was there at 1050 and they had the drive through blocked with cones.
They wouldn't serve me, even though they still had several cars waiting in the drive through.
The day we went there, it was around 6 pm, and they said it would take a minute to get the food out. Then we hear noises coming from inside, and someone screams and the other crew members laughing. Now it's been like 5-6 minutes, and the window guy opens the window, still laughing, saying to pull forward cause it's not done yet and said they're waiting for the fries. 10 minute of waiting up front near the door, and we pull around again, and they said, "we sent someone out, and you weren't there" when we were near the door the entire time where he told us to go.
The last two times I've gone to the Waynesville stores drive-thru, the restaurant has been completely closed. Unsure the reasons they have begun closing before midnight.
Rated this 5 years ago and just went back the other night and I STILL give it a good rating. The food was delicious and the staff were very very friendly!
I ordered two Sausage Egg McMuffin sandwiches and a Sausage biscuit through DoorDash, but I got a single chicken McGriddle instead. I called the restaurant since this is a major mistake, but they were very rude and refused to listen.

Typical McDonald's. Order taker confused by multitasking. Finally, order correct on screen but order received incorrect.
Wrong order. Got cheeseburger happy meal instead of nuggets. No sauce. Got a burger with only bread and meat and some pickles, no sauce or anything else inside. Called to complained, got hung up in the middle of the call, then called back and they refused to answer the phone again.
O. This occasion I used mobile curbside to get my food and it took over 40 minutes to get my order I even had to just go in and ask wth however usually great service
