McDonald's, St Charles MO

McDonald's has gone downhill since taking the soda station away. They pay little attention to customers.

Revisited this location. While the inside colors still are not the most inviting, it is better than before and the staff were delightful. They were working in a cohesive manner. There were jokes, laughter, and everyone was smiling. Kyle is a new manager and he with a 2nd manager, Chastity had the lunch running very smoothly. I had an enjoyable conversation with Chastity during her quick break once the rush was dealt with. As you can see from my photos, the staff are all smiles. My meal was quickly served and for a fast food sandwich, enjoyable. The fries delicious and not over-salted. My only small criticism I could make was the need to go out to clean tables and the drink area more often. And bring back the unstweetened and sweetened tea to the self-serve drink area.

Food was okay. But the "new" look is ugly and not customer friendly unless your related to the Addams Family. Painted dark gray inside and out with uncomfortable seating.it's not kid nor family friendly in any way.

Missed an item on a large order for a work lunch. Chastity was so friendly and welcoming to help us out. In my opinion it’s not the mistakes we make but how we fix them that matters. I love this McDonald’s for always being kind and understanding with their customers. Speedy recovery

I give them this because you wait too long for orders here and it was about five people in front line and I'm waiting on a sausage sandwich and hash brown.they laughing and talking while customers are there.people get it together! Time was about 9am, 10-11-23. Wait too long for food at this location.

Jasmine in a tie-dyed shirt completely ignored me when I said “excuse me ma’am”. I waited then said it again thinking she didn’t hear me. Then when I realized she was ignoring me I said loudly “ma’am”. She didn’t even look. The lady behind her said how can I help you. Horrible way to treat a customer who was being super respectful and polite.

I usually have quick service here and always have accurate orders! The people working are friendly. But everytime I order the Hi c orange it’s extremely watered down, so I bet the concentration is off or something

Fries were cold. Nuggets were perfect. Only complaints are that I ordered two orders to be brought to the table and they just called over speaker for them both to be picked up and they were out of ketchup. The orders took a long time but they were slammed when we arrived.

Ordered two McChickens, no lettuce on either, and the buns were stale.
Fries were cold and tasted old.
My daughter's Happy Meal was also missing her apples.

Everything's always broke and slow service. I'll never order from here again. How is the coffee machine broke every other week. Sad excuse for a business.

As of 9/2023: We went in for take out and used the kiosk since no one was available to take the order at the counter. We could hear the staff in the back calling out when they were out of different products, turned some customers away, and set one of their lobby staff home. We eventually got our food 40min later, but it was all hot and included. They actually gave a big breakfast instead of the pancake +bacon combo so that was a bonus. It seems to be in a process of restructuring staff so if you aren't in a rush, give it a try. Otherwise, you might wait a while.

I went to the McDonald's on Zumbehl rin St Charles, placed an order in the drive thru line, got to the window and was given my bag of food which didn't include my fries. I. Had to pull back around to the drive thru window to let them know they didn't put my dues in the bag, I had to wait 7 minutes for my food. While waiting I hear the employees cussing and complaining about how they not preparing anymore orders they were ready to close up.

The coffee tastes like sour water and looks like sweet tea. Happened to me several mornings now and I don't have time to wait for a fix since I'm trying to get something before work.

Not to mention the food tasted a biyt like plastic as well

I got robbed. Purchased 2 bacon mcdoubles with no cheese and a basket for fries. Was Givin 2 single pattie burgers and no fries

Placed a 4 meal order on Doordash an hour before close. They turned away 3 dasher who went to pick it up until they finally canceled my order 1 minute before they closed. They purposefully didn't make my order and just kept pushing dashers waiting till close. This the just the most recent incident, we've had multiple orders over delivery and drive thru that have been incomplete or completely wrong. The staffing/training really needs to be looked into here

The digital and the treatment at this McDonald's is terrible and they don't pay the slightest attention to you, don't even think about it.

Just waited 25 minutes for a pickup order and I was literally the only person to get served in that time. The 2 guys bagging orders at 4 pm were too busy hitting on the off the clock employee behind the counter

Fries and burgers were fresh. Drive thru service was slooooow. There were only two cara including mine.

Got a triple cheeseburger and another cheeseburger in the drive thru and they were burnt. They had been sitting too long. Took them back inside and got replacement. Management didn't even apologize. Acted like I was an inconvenience. Cold fries. Girl taking orders sounded like a robot. Zero personality.

Update*** went here again on 9/9/23.drive thru was full so I went inside.big mistake. Ordered at the one kiosk that was open and waited 30 minutes for my food. No one working counter. I finally requested refund as did 3 or 4 other people after me. This place is out of control. Called to manager and instead of can I help you she yells out "what". How unprofessional! I got my refund and went to location at Mexico and Spencer Road. There the food was fast, fresh and hot the way it should be. Was in drive thru less than 10 minutes.
Please shut down the Zumbhel location because the service and food never changes.always bad! Have contacted corporate and nothing ever changes. Sad!

This has become the worst McDonald’s in the area. Bad service. Slow service. Bad quality.
Do yourself a favor and go to the location at Harvester instead.

This is a poor managed place. It is lack of staffs to take care of orders. I would not recommend this place. Go to the stores near by.
