Menards, Springfield MO

They have a variety of things at reasonable prices and the employees are very friendly and helpful. There were plenty of people who were willing to help find the products that I needed. They are the best in service that I've seen in a very long time.

I am disappointed in my recent Menard's experience. I purchased a Christmas tree, on the Dutch Auction Sale on 12/22/21 from the east side store in Springfield, MO. The tree had no box since it was the floor model and it was the last one in the store. Our helpful associate, Zack, did look for a box, but was unsuccessful. Instead, he came up with an acceptable work around, and that was to put the tree in a tree bag, also sold at Menards. I asked at the checkout if I could get the tree bag, which was $14.99 for free since there was no box for the tree I was purchasing or if I could get an additional discount since there was no box. The front end manager, Tiffany, was also helpful and was communicating with an associate named Matt. Matt was quite rude about it retorted that no additional discount could be given and the tree bag could not be credited since the tree was on the Dutch Auction sale. I am just disappointed that my brand new tree did not come with a box and I had to pay an additional $15 just to be able to transport the tree home. I just expected more from Menards. The whole ordeal just left a sour taste in my mouth, especially since Menards was unable to help my oldest son with a lumber donation for his Eagle Scout project a few years ago. Menard's now has 2 big strikes in my book. I'm pretty sure a $15 tree bag is a small price to pay to keep a loyal customer coming back. Sincerely, A disappointed Menard's customer.

Best quality selection around. We make dozens of trips to this store during the remodel of our home. Seriously, they have everything!

It was very confusing no organization to the store three different Associates tell me where the wood burning stoves are and I could find them disappointed

I went in to purchase a water heater for my house since they have more selection than Home Depot or Lowes. Their "in stock" models were few and anything not in stock takes two weeks to get it in-store. By that time I'd be two weeks without hot water. Why have a wide selection and only keep a few in-store?

Menards is more than just a lumber yard.has food, some cloths, appliances, laundry detergent, and many more items sold there.rent a pick up for under 20.00 per day.why go to different stores when you can just go here and find what your looking for, and at very reasonable prices.

They have everything we need! I was able to get an oversized switch plate for less than I could order on Amazon, and the other home improvement stores didn't have. The employees are so helpful!

Asked 3 different employees where an item was that was on the latest mailout. Only 1 tried. But the directions were vaugh & I looked & looked. Finally gave up. Their customer service today was lousy!

I bought a refrigerator in august of 2021. The motherboard (brain) went out 3 weeks into having $1700 fridge. Menards would NOT help AT all in getting a new one. Told them I didn’t want this hunk of junk… didn’t matter. Had to go through warranty company.

Warranty company didn’t have anyone available due to no staff. Had motherboard replaced and paid $582 of our own money. This was in September. Here it is, December, turns out… it wasn’t the motherboard. Contacted warranty company, they had a new company they were going through. They came, diagnosed ‘correct’ problem.need receipt. Can’t find receipt. Went to Menards to print one out. They only hold receipts in computer for 90 days. Magically, they don’t see my receipt on the kiosk I used… and there isn’t a way to find it. But! It shows the dolly we had to buy to bring the refrigerator home. Problem still not fixed.

If I could give Menards negative 100 stars, I would. Rude customer service, have no idea what they are doing. Very dissatisfied. Will never in my life shop here again.

Menards is ok. As a builders store its not as good as Lowe's but it's got a lot of stuff for the urban handy people. I hate how the entrance is so far from the exit, especially on a rainy day.

Have had exactly what I need ever time, very nice staff as well, helped me find what I needed very efficiently, if they don't know than they find someone who does and gets you what you need.

I placed an order online for pick up the night before and got a email stating it was ready so the following morning I get there there’s a line of traffic no workers out there just people sitting in their cars waiting for someone. So I go in and the guy working was trying to find someone else’s order that had been misplaced and nobody’s putting any effort to go fast or get help in this department and he finally picked my order and it’s wrong and I had to go get the right materials on the opposite end of the store my self due to my limited time schedule. As I walk through the store to get my materials there was plenty of people facing shelves and doing nothing that could’ve helped. I just want to say their order pick up is a joke and none of the employees give a hoot.

Well for one if you’re not with a child, or a woman, expect for them to follow you around like you have stolen there 100 times…rather than of shop there 100 times. Also expect to not be helped if you don’t. Save big money when you go to Menards keep your self worth and respect when you don’t.

Ya gotta try the pork tacos with the dipping sauce! Omg ya die for! Head on over it's in front of Sam's club on Sunshine! He has a new sandwich coming out! I look forward in trying it! ️️️️
