Menards, St Joseph MO

A decent place to shop. They almost always have what I need. The quality isn't always the greatest, but it works.

The lumber selection is wide, but sometimes it's difficult to find quality wood.

Love Menards, for a hardware store they have just about everything a person could need. Very well organized and friendly customer service.

I shop her a decent amount, just never left a review. Today's experience left an impression that I felt like warranted a review. Everyone I encountered was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Shout out to Sheri especially (hopefully I caught her name right) for going above and beyond in her friendlyness and helpfulness while checking out. The two ladies in the paint department were also very helpful in pointing me to the exact aisle clear at the other end of the store when I couldn't find what I was looking for.

People are helpful and friendly. We don't purchase everything for all our needs because there prices are usually higher than other places.

Been a Menards customer for a few years even a employee always enjoyed my trips to the store at least 3 times a month this time was at the St. Joesph store where the mask mandate has been lifted well went into the Menards there no mask went through the entire store walked by probably a dozen employees with no mask went to check out clerk told me mask up or leave or she wouldn't check my items told her about the number of employees that didn't say a word about the lack of mask her words tough should have said fine and left the items I didn't I left the store while my wife finished the which purchase was total crazy how a business ignores a city mandate might have to rethink my Menards loyalty better trip this time prefer Menards over the other 2 box lumber stores love Menards with no self check outs as of yet

Looked around town for a blank sign to advertise some bedroom furniture for sale. It was the only place we found one. Has lots of things you can not find at other stores. Good deals great prices on lots of things.

One of my favorite big boy toy stores. Also one of my wife's favorite places to find projects for me to do! If they are offering the 11% rebate be sure to mail in the rebate purchase tickets as the coupons they send back is money in the store.

Pro: Store is great. Staff is super helpful.

Con: Website has one of the worst search algorithms I've seen for a major company like this.

Huge store with a lot of offerings; and kind of known to be let priced. I've grown to like it quite well, but the way they advertise their rebates is just not right, in my opinion.

Great lumberyard but still not sure why groceries are there and the 11% rebate is stupid as you have to spend it back at Menards

The delivery company they use is the worst it took them 3 tries to get me my delivery and still not on time I can not say anything good about them

Usually love Menards but we spent a few thousand dollars and was delivered the wrong product, and then being charged for something they were not capable of even doing. Asked if our shingles could be delivered to the roof, the girl said yes. Then come delivery day, we had to send back all the wrong and wait for the right order and then they told us they only lift 8' there is no way a roof is 8' none that I've seen. So they can't deliver to the roof like she stated and charged.

It was warm and a little humid inside. The employees were helpful and seemed knowledgeable when asked for help.

DO NOT EVER buy a scratch n dent appliance we did a washer and within 2 months it's making a loud grinding noise and sound horrible will stop shopping here because the manager wouldn't even give us our money back when we wanted to return it very disappointed in ST. JOSEPH MO MENARDS do better!

Very good store and pricing. Might have more help in the yard. No one available to tell me where some things were. Best price always.

Actually, four stars isn't an accurate reflection of Menards, it should be five stars, I just rated it that in order to explain myself. For a guy like me, Menards would absolutely be the perfect store if they sold alcohol! It's a lumber yard/supermarket/appliance store/garden center/furniture store/etc.
The only thing they lack is, like I said, alcohol. But that's ok, any store where you go in and come out with allot more than you intended is the mark of a great store!

Great selection of everything especially the dog treats and way cheaper than anywhere else
