Mexican Villa El Taco reviews
19Not even up to Taco Bell quality. I got a beef burrito that was a flour tortilla packed with bean paste, with a sprinkling of what might be called "beef dust" and traces of cheese. It was nuked, so it was too hot, and like a lava pocket, it burned my mouth. There isn't fresh anything. What a slap in the face for ~$15.00. Never again. This place needs to disappear. You've got nothing mvet!
Rude. Food cold. Now charging for sweet sauce that's water down. They use horrible stale chip and taco shells always cut corners for profit while screwing the customer menu prices jump 3 bucks cheese sauce always thin never thick half full charging full price ripping customers off. Stop supporting El taco in Ozark let them go broke.
At best these are $2 tacos at the VFW on taco Tuesday, I was actually duped, I was given all the signals that this would be an authentic taqueria, from the decorations to the menu, I should have known by the price. If you're from around here you know damn well what you're getting yes it's not authentic, but you won't leave anything on your plate.
Food is always hot and just as delicious as the time before.
The lobby is decorated well too.
We have been going to Mexican Villa for at least 40 years, and have always had a good meal!
Once again tried eating in Ozark never got my drink I paid for. No one reads the orders they just give you what they want! Pitiful not one drive thru in this town can get an order correct I was hoping this one would but nope just like the rest!
Food didn't taste quite as good as it did about three months ago. Their exorbitant increase in cheese dip prices surpasses that of their competitor who is more conveniently located for us so we'll not make this a first choice for Mexican food.
I thought the place was closed upon arrival and told the workers that the lights weren’t on out front. Coming from Southern California I wasn’t expecting it to be anywhere near what I’m used to but my God! The food wasn’t even digestible! Absolutely disgusting! I spent nearly $30 for literal slop! I have no idea how they’re still in business. Maybe a money laundering operation
Food was horrible no lettuce cheese on a burrito hard chips salsa wasn't good just won't be back
Went through drive thru, $85.00 later got home to south Springfield and did not have the queso dip I ordered or the three taco basket and the burritos I ordered were supposed to be shredded chicken and they ended up being beef! Horrible service to begin with!
We ordered 2 of the 3 taco baskets. The Taco shells were stale, the meat was cold. And the chips were so stale tasting we could not eat them. This was not the first time here. Spent around $28 and was NOT worth it.
Usually we go to Mexican Villa n Natioal in Springfield but they are all good.
If I only tried the one in Ozark Mo I would have second thoughts on trying others.
Food was OK but less authentic than I hoped. Very Americanized food. Staff was very friendly and got the food out quickly. Prices weren't terrible.
My go too Hispanic fast food place when I'm traveling back and forth to Branson. Try the hot salsa.
It was okay for fast food tacos. However the staff was extremely friendly. The tacos were nothing spectacular but ok for a fast food taco kind of pricey. 3 tacos and small drink was $12. The cheese dip was very good but $15 for a pint with 1 bag of chips. Overall ok if you're passing through and need something fast.
I thought it was good I loved all of the different salsas and the guacamole was amazing kinda pricey on the guacamole and nacho cheese would be better if you could have both for not so expensive could use more options for drinks but coke is a classic not the place to go most likely if you have a big family wanting to save but overall good experience cool scenery
The combination platter is so yummy. The music in the sitting area is much better now also.
Food expensive. Walk up order food pick up food and bis own table for fair expensive food. Will not go back or recommend
My all time favorite place to eat the burrito enchiladas style will always be the number one best imo from El taco
Great atmosphere! Super fast service at lunch! Open seven days a week! Our favorite is the burrito enchilada style made the old way. So delicious!
