I think the staff is nice and they get you in quick. The doctors are good. They are good about getting my refills in when I need them.

Highly do not recommend, the fertility clinic. Provider Brandi is rude, isn't sympathetic at all. I was waiting for a call back with an updated results on my hcg levels after getting a positive test. I waited all afternoon for a phone call, just to receive an email saying my pregnancy isn't viable and I will miscarry. She has no respect for paients struggling with infertility.

I went to the Research facilities for my first ultra sound and was shocked at how dirty the room was. There were piles of dirty rags in the sink, a desk covered in haphazard pieces of paperwork, and an overflowing trash can. In every other hospital visit, the doctor or nurse will wash their hands in the room when they first come in. However since the sink was overrun with dirty rags, that was not an option. I have no way of knowing if my provider washed her hands before performing my internal ultrasound. I would not feel safe giving birth in an environment that was managed by the same crew that takes care of the ultra sound room I was in. Will be switching providers immediately.

Dr. Angela Shaw and her staff are my heroes. Dr. Shaw helped me out so much by scheduling my "women's" healthcare appointments and procedure into her heavily booked schedule AND before the holidays. She was more concerned about my health and well-being than anything else. Her office staff did a fabulous job communicating, scheduling and dealing with insurance precertification requirements. Her medical staff did a wonderful job in pre- and postop. Obviously, everyone, especially Dr. Shaw, did a superb job during the procedure. I am so thankful, grateful and blessed to have all of them in my life.

My appointment was at the Midwest Women's Healthcare Specialists in the Kansas City location. My surgery was at Belton Regional Medical Center.

I wish there was a way I could only rate one staff member. Overall, I'd give the practice five stars. Front desk staff is friendly and the midwife I've been seeing (Katie Lorand) has been helpful, caring, and informative. I would give those two five stars.

The ultrasound tech in the office is a different matter. I would give her one star. At my 20 week ultrasound, she rushed through, not talking about anything she was doing or measuring. She refused to tell me the location of my placenta or how big my baby was measuring. When I asked her about gender, she took a quick look and said she wasn't sure, but it looked like probably a girl. She didn't spend ANY time trying to be sure. I asked how sure she was (50%? 90%?) and her response was, "Oh, I can't say for sure. You'll know for sure when the baby is born. " Well THANKS! That's so helpful!

Now mind you, this is not my first baby. It's my fifth. I've had numerous ultrasounds at other labs and offices (this is my first time with this midwife group) and have never had any tech be so dismissive of my questions. And they have always tried to determine gender the best that they can. They also usually give multiple pictures of toes, hands, stomach, heart, and a "gender" shot. She gave a few pictures of the face and a couple of the profile.

If you're with Midwest Women's Healthcare and need an ultrasound, I would recommend requesting going to a different tech. This woman needs replaced. She has multiple negative reviews. It's time to hire someone who cares about the patients and has decent bedside manners.

Karen L.is the best! I've had such a difficult time in the past few months and she has gone above and beyond for me. Thank you so much Dr. Stark and Karen. Truly have changed my life.

We absolutely love Karen Lytton. She makes us feel welcome and safe. She's the best at what she does. If it wasn't for her and Brandi Weaver, we prolly wouldn't have come back here to try again

Dr Wayman is an excellent OBGYN. She is thoughtful with her questions and consistently demonstrates her care and compassion for me as a patient. She is also an effective position, accurately diagnosing and treating any difficulties I've experienced.

Absolutely horrible. Multiple rescheduling of appointments, when they do finally get you in, you wait 30 min and no DR shows up. Finally had to walk out. There is no communication, no understanding, a complete cluster. Go anywhere else besides here if possible.

If I could rate 0 I would. Countless "missing" appointments, the sonogram lady might be the most uncaring, rude person on the planet, doctors are waaaayyyy over booked, average waiting time in room is over an hour. By far the worst doctors office i have ever seen, and i go to the VA!

Dr. Rebecca Wayman is a fantastic OBGYN! She makes sure your needs are met and shows genuine care to her patients. She also doesn’t push her patients to do something, instead she lets them decide by giving them the pros/cons. When it was time to give birth, the labor and delivery nurses were absolutely wonderful! We mostly had Christine and Lisa helping us, but we felt so blessed to have them by our side. The entire staff made us feel so good and we’d choose everyone who helped us all over again. 100% recommend delivering your babies at Research!

The doctors are lazy and overbooked and the front desk doesn’t know how to use their scheduling software. The nurses are not pleasant.
Heard my doctor talking about my health issues with someone in the hall and it came off very dismissive.
Go to Planned Parenthood.

I waited for my OB for a hour. And still was not seen. No one could tell me my results. She never put any doctors notes in. It was a whole mess. Also the couple times I seen Dr. Levine it always seemed like I was rushed. I also called 2x about canceling my appointment for labs. So I asked what time would that make my appointments. They both stated 9 and 9: 30. Got there the appointment was not canceled. Very unprofessional.

I was a patient of Dr. Ward's, who was a great doctor, but this review is a review of the office. I experienced a miscarriage earlier this month that involved a trip to the ER due to extremely heavy bleeding and side pelvic pain. All the tests at the ER were inconclusive, and I called Midwest Women's first thing in the morning the next day. When I begged for an appointment with anyone in the office I was informed that there are no doctors in the office on Fridays and all the midwifes were booked. The nurse never once asked how I was doing or expressed any sympathy. I was told there was no one to see me and if I started bleeding again I should just go back to the ER. What kind of doctors office doesn't leave a few time slots available for emergencies?

I truly love my doctor and nurse! Everyone on call almost always gets back to you ASAP, but be forewarned that it's an answering service that takes your calls after hours and communicates with the doctor and I haven't always had the best luck with getting calls back. I've had a great experience with everyone in this office, but I don't know if they're directly connected to the labor and delivery department in Research. Actually, every single person in that L&D office was a gem, save for this truly awful nurse at the front desk that took me in to triage who was easily one of the rudest people I've ever met. I had to come in for an emergency situation and she was short, dismissive, and downright acted as if I wasn't there, sitting in a wheelchair, waiting for SOMEONE to either let me in or let me know what was going to happen. Every other person, though, was incredible and super kind!

The nurse and OB made me feel like I was an annoyance going to see them for the conditions that I did. I heard them whisper outside the patient room about me and laughed about it. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNCARING. NEVER GO SEE DR. WAYMAN.

They cancelled my appointment 4 times, and pushed it over 1.5 months ahead when I needed to come in for birth control because my prescription they gave me was running out. The behavior the receptionist over the showed was extremely disrespectful and she even hung up on me! I switched OBGYN due to poor communication and how rude the people were over the phone.

This group is amazing! Dr. Ward has given me hope as my husband and I begin to try and conceive our first child. She is the first to listen to my concerns and complications and take me seriously. So excited to have her in my corner as we start this journey

Dr Z, Tre and Lab Tech were a joy, they made sure I didn’t feel uncomfortable as a new patient. I do feel that the front desk were a little impersonal to be the face of the clinic.
