Fusion International at Spurgeon College (the undergrad) is a very poorly run missions program. Teaching seems biblical at a glance, but training methods are filled with frequent displays of anger as well as a very uneducated view of the mental illness it is causing. Much deception in administration process to get new missions program candidates.

Many argue the goal of fulfilling the great commission justifies their harsh behavior and secrecy- that they've found a special script that outsiders just cant understand if they were told upfront. Red flag? !? ! Incredible ability to talk about sound doctrine/gospel centeredness/ biblical missions strategy, but sadly, a ruined witness due to the lack of Christ-like character. 1 Corinthians 13: 3

This is a fantastic School, with a fantastic faculty, and a beautiful campus. This is my second year attending this school and I have loved it. If you are looking into southern Baptist seminaries to attend, be sure and check Midwestern out. God is doing great things here. For perspective students, look into the Timothy Track program. It will be worth your while.

This is a great seminary and has an affordable and fun experience for anyone who comes. The spurgon college program means that you can get your seminary degree and your undergraduate at the same place. Lots of friendly people here and the housing is decent.
The adjourned forest (on property) is filled with wildlife and beautiful trees. At the mathena center you can visit games like basketball and volleyball. In the foyer there is a popular studying place, coffee shop, and a bookstore. There is an activity center where there is pool, foosball, and other such. There is a basketball court, running track and a weight room.
Covid-19 restrictions have post-poned some events and activities, but everything is virtually the same.

It has sadden me, I’m 53 and first time going for college degree, to find the worst experiences ever!

My experience has not been the best, it seems admissions make up as they go along. I complied with the 2 Pastors, now they ask for a 3rd, or of a membership. Since I have no membership with Southern Baptist. They also want a transcript of a non-existence matter, of a school I checked out, but never attended. Parchment has no record, they will not accept the email, instead they ask for recorded conversation with Higher Education. Really, Who does that?

On December 25-we will celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ because he came to this land and crucified on the cross for save ours and give the eternal life to us. Thanks for the Lord of the God.

The facilities and the faculty are top notch. I have been on campus multiple times, but mainly take my classes online. It is a bargain for what it costs and it is a solid biblical institution.

MBTS is one of the top seminaries in the nation. The undergraduate program at Spurgeon is outstanding as well. Affordable, high-quality, doctrinally orthodox theological education for any one serious about ministry.
