Mighty Melt Sandwich & Spud reviews
14Used to go after school a couple times a week when I was in warrensburg. Kinda forgot we had one in Sedalia. Food was amazing like it always has been. People are nice and the place is clean and welcoming.
Had lunch here the other day. Got the turkey club melt and a chicken fajita spud. Really satisfying!
We don't get to eat her much as were 60 miles away (Blue Springs), but when we pass thru we always stop. Today we made a special trip as the wife was craving an Original MaxiMelt so off we went on a 120 mile round trip.
Everyone is super friendly and prompt, sure it takes a while as they make each sandwich fresh and toasted to melt the cheese. The wife always gets the Maxi so she can take 3/4 home for later. Note that Maxi appears to be 12 inches x 10 inches and cut into 6 pieces! That is a monster sandwich. I go the simple route and the Turkey Club regular is my choice. Stop by and visit them, yes it takes a little while to prepare your sandwich but it's fresh and worth the wait.
(they have super clean restrooms)
I made bread there for 10 years a long time ago and was very disappointed in the quality of the bread the edges were very hard. It was obviously old. But the middle of the loaf was good. Sorry for this review but being honest.
I love these sandwiches but I'm not buying them anymore. When I come thru the Sedalia location, I always stop & take a sandwich home. I keep asking for no mushrooms as I can't eat them. I always check any sandwich that I buy that comes with mushrooms. Mighty Melt constantly keeps putting them on so I have to give away my sandwich. You can't just take them off, the juices are now on the ingredients. Really upsetting since the correctly made ones are delicious. Bummer!
I wasn't sure what to expect, but these sandwiches are SO good. They bake the bread fresh daily and wow! The line was long when we got there for the lunch rush but it moved pretty fast.
An old time Sedalia tradition. There isn't any thing like it. Such a great place and really great people. A+
Finally decided to check this place out since everyone was talking about it. Very disappointed for sure had a Turkey/bacon sandwich with Chilli soup Very tasteless everything no flavors whatsoever. Not sure what's the hype about this place.
Great little sandwich shop. They also have soups of the day, and desserts while they last. Everyone enjoyed it!
Got a Rueben sandwich and broccoli cheddar soup. Sandwich was perfect! The soup was too thick and not much flavor. I’ve gotten it other times and it’s been better.
Incredible food made quickly and accurately. Friendly staff and a very cool place. Will absolutely drive from Jefferson city to Sedalia for their turkey melt and roast beef again!
My favorite place to eat in Sedalia! Their bread is the kicker here. They also have delicious soups, spuds, cookies and scones!
Food was sooo good! I highly recommend getting cup of soup as well to go with your sandwich melt! This way you can dunk some if the sandwich in it!
It's a fun place to go and my wife loves it. I can't ever figure out what to order. I would honestly give it a 4.5 out of 5, but that isn't an option.
