Missouri Down Under Adventure Zoo reviews
16This place was awesome. A lot to do and a good place to kill some time. The staff was so friendly and our guide was super knowledgeable and did a great job ensuring we had a great experience. Definitely worth stopping by and checking out if you’re in the area!
So worth your stop! We stopped here two years ago traveling through this area, and made sure to stop on our way through again this year! Our family feed the kangaroos, which was such fun. Our favorite is Clifford, the old male. The three employees were so kind, and truly loved working there. The young man that gave us a tour of the other animals and of the cave, was so much fun too. We cannot wait to stop again!
Wonderful experience. The tour, guide, was very informative. Left full of knowledge of life long memories for the family.
Went for a field trip with the kiddos. They absolutely loved it and so did I! The staff are super knowledgeable and the animals appear to be well cared for and loved.
Great environment great activities, had a big crew and all the kids were very happy with our experience
My wife and I was driving by and saw the sign, my wife always wanted to see kangaroos and we was so happy we stopped here!
What an awesome experience meeting and learning about the animals.
The entire staff were really friendly, welcoming and informative.
We had so much fun petting the Lemur and the Kangaroos. This is a must see, little gem in Missouri
Place was an awesome stop! Lots of cool animals, really friendly people giving us fun facts about the animals.highly recommend for the kids!

We went today with a homeschool group (about 20 kids, age 2-13)
They all had so much fun, learned about some new animals, and got to have adventures feeding kangaroos, exploring a cave and digging for treasure!
Cannot recommend this awesome place more!
Neat little place to stop and check out. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were working on adding more so will definitely stop again next time we are in the area.
Super fun feeding the kangaroos. There was also goats, sheep, porcupine, lemurs and a few others. There is also a must do cave tour that is fun.
There was only 2 customers there besides us. We didn't take any tours because it was raining & we didn't bring enough money but I did see some kangaroos. I didn't even have to have a ticket to see them. My family and I plan to go back later this summer. According to the ads I seen they also have a cave tour. I'm not sure about the prices. I believe it is $20 per person to see animals like the kangaroos & maybe it's $50 if you add the cave tour. Call the phone number to get the correct prices because we just guessed and didn't have enough money. They are located maybe a mile after you cross the big bridge (depending upon which way you are coming from). They are where the Zip Line used to be. You may not believe my review after I tell you this. I swear, I really believe I saw Sasquatch (Big Foot) there.
Every body is vary friendly there if have questions they'll be happy to answer questions you got for them
Fun place to visit. Kangaroos, goats, horse. Lemurs, porcupine, peacock, wolves. Lynx, screech owl, kookaburra, other birds, turtles, rabbits. Reasonable priced. Wear comfortable shoes as there is an incline walking up to the kangaroo and goat area and it's rocky.kids can also pan for stones and such. There 8s also a cave, but it was flooded on our visit.
