Missouri Star Quilt Company reviews
21Fun place to be a QUILTER/MAKER. ALL the Staff was incredibly nice. It was a hot day so browsing was a good activity. Glad it had a space for an RV to park.and somewhere for my Guy to hang out while I shopped. All the daily specials were gone by my 1: 00 arrival.and not enough XL shirt choices but I still found some bling. We also hit the Quilt Museum and the ice cream shop next to it. All in all, very fun. Would love to do a retreat sometime.
My wife loves to come here. She is an avid quilter & comes here at least twice a year for supplies. Unique town turned into a quilt fabric city. If you quilt, you need to come here. Each bldg.is filled with different fabric & the folks in the stores are fantastic helpers.
A very wonderful store. It was definitely worth stopping and looking around. A large variety of fabrics and accessories. The staff was friendly, cheerful and helpful. We will definitely come back.
Very disappointed. I purchased fabric online 10 days ago and the shipments still aren't updated to say they were picked up by the carrier. Never again will I purchase from them.
I love to sew. It's a sewers heaven and had a chance to meet Jenny. What a tall lady. Will visit again. Service was great.
I am not a quilter, but the friend I came with is. I found several things to bring home. But my friend is filling the trunk. Lunch at ECCO was casual and very nice. Plenty of room to move around in the stores. Places to sit and clean restrooms. We will definitely be back.
I love Hamilton MO. It is great fun going there and taking in the Missouri Star Experience. I hit the jackpot this visit, the material I wanted was on Sale. Can't beat that
Should have read the reviews first. Extremely slow on shipping orders. Worst of all the fabric sites. To big for their britches I think.
Stopped by here on the way back home from visiting our kids in Kansas and it was such a great experience. Shops were full of beautiful fabric, everyone was so helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was absolutely pleasant. On discovering the Man's Room my husband said, "She thought about us too! " So glad we made the slight detour to check it out.
Love this store hope to get my sister out there someday soon. Thank you to the staff for takin ggv time to share information.
Underwhelmed. Would not make the drive (4 hours) again.
Many quilters do enjoy MSQC.
I am pleased for them!
This is just one womens opinion.
Love these shops! So much variety and beautiful display quilts for inspiration! Each and every employee that assisted me was friendly and helpful. I love that a little life has been breathed into a small fading town and because of all the Doan family and their staff does the love of sewing and quilting grows! I hope I get to come and participate in a retreat soon! Thank you!
Good outing day with Mom. Easy wheelchair access. Nice bakeries and cafés. Good food. Well stocked products. Friendly and helpful staff.
On my way tomorrow! I can’t wait to see all the delicious fabric. On a road trip from California to Florida, now headed back!
I went to the reopening of MSQC today and I was surprised to see how down and drained the entire staff was. Usually they have such bright energy, but not today.
I can tell that the workers have been treated badly by those higher up in the company. I can't believe Jenny would allow these nice people to be mistreated, and I will be taking my business elsewhere until this is fixed.
I was expecting to see more quilt examples. I saw very few.
I felt like I was in an overgrown Joann Fabric.
Not worth the drive
Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a great shopping experience. I was disappointed in the batik shop. A lot of shelves empty. There were only a few places to eat.
Since COVID we have all changed how we shop. A few local brick and mortar quilt stores have closed. There is nothing more gratifying than touching and seeing fabric in person for that special quilt. Missouri Star Quilt have made ordering online a little easier with all there video tutorials and fabric suggestions. I plan to visit someday.
My first visit & I'm also new to sewing. Everyone has been so helpful answering all my questions. I will definitely come back. Thanks
