Mitchem Tire, Ozark MO

I’ve purchased tires here and today needed a flat fixed on another vehicle. Always great knowledge and service.

Super Friendly customer service. 3 stars because im Kind of mix about it. Went in just for a oil change and came out 6 hours later and $946 for tires, parts, and labor and 3 miles down the road, my check engine light came on. So now I have that to deal with now. This is my 3rd or 4th experience with them and the first few were fine. This is just my experience and might not be yours.

I tore up a trailer tire. Bill, at Mitchum had me in and out of there with a new tire in about 15 minutes. Unbelievable fast service. They even checked the other tires before I could go. Love that place.

I left a 1 star review a few months ago so seeing much older reviews I know Mitchem Tire only allows the good ones to remain on their website. That led me to leave here on reviews. Tires rotated and had one cap not put back tight only to find the screws that hold it on were stripped. Anyone who has any common sense knows that you have to start them correctly by hand first, before using a screw gun, so that they do not get cross threaded and stripped threads. NOT NATE! I am having them rotated again ELSEWHERE tomorrow so I have removed the caps to avoid the next so called “experienced technician” only to find that they are ALL stripped and even had 2 screws replaced with screws with different threads. These were brand new wheels! This is UNACCEPTABLE! If you go to Mitchem Tire you need to avoid NATE!

They were so busy, but within a 4 hour period they provided me with a great bid, scheduled me for later in the day, and put the new tires on my vehicle. I was impressed by their professionalism, patience, and service to everyone who came/went, and called while I was there during their busy, busy time. Will definitely continue to use their services.

Brought in 2 wheels brand new in the box to be mount and balanced. One wheel left dented in 2 different spots. They tell me it must have been like that when I brought it in. I find this hard to believe, but it's their word against mine. It seems more likely that an accident happened while mounting the tire. Seems not much I can do about it.

Edit. See response below. I don't believe this is taking responsibility. I didn't expect anything to be done about it. I decided to be kind in the store and go on about my day as I know there are bigger issues out there than my wheel getting damaged at a tire shop and then being lead to believe I brought them in like that. I inspected them before bringing them in. There were no dents or marks on them. Now there are. Like I say. Nothing will be done about it. But hopefully this review allows those responsible to reflect on it.

Thank you. I came in with a tire that was losing air. They replaced the tire under warranty in less than an hour. Can’t say enough good things about the service. It was exceptional.
