Always a positive and very educational environment. Super thankful for everything they do for the community!
I have ordered free narcan to pass out to my community twice from here. The second time they sent me 48 units of narcan, and backpacks with educational material stuffed in them. ALL FOR FREE! I plan to add a couple of personal items such as water bottle and toiletries and snacks to each of these backpacks. My community and I are very thankful that they are doing these things. Narcan is something that should be accessible to anybody and it shouldn't be as expensive as it is in most places.
This place legitimately saved someone's life today. I stopped in there to get some free narcan as I have a friend moving in with me, fresh out of treatment. I was driving by loughborough commons about 10 min later and I see a lady asleep at the stop sign with a needle hanging out of her arm and her lips were blue. Luckly an off duty cop saw her too and was able to reach through the back window and unlock the door. He called 911 and we waited what felt like forever for an ambulance but was probably only 5-10 min. Then he advised me to get the 2 pack of narcan out of my car and I gave her one up the nose and she still wasn't waking so I gave her the other. A few minutes later she woke up just as the ambulance was pulling up. The first words out of her mouth were I am fine. Man addiction is crazy. I am happy places like this exist. God bless everyone involved. I'm gonna have to go back up there to get more narcan now and after today, wouldn't mind having it at home and in my car at all times.
