Very impress. The room was very spacious and nice. Love that they have a rooftop bar that closes at 1am and, of course. Their robes are so comfy. Convenient to restaurants.

I booked an event with this company venue and was very dissatisfied with the service they had to offer. I set together an entire menu service with appetizers and buffet for wellmy family and friends coming to celebrate my baby shower with me. I was so excited about the view and the place and the menu that provided me. The venue to rent was $750 and the tota amount for food was $2600 for 45 guest. I had high hopes the food was going to be great but my guest and I was blown back from what we were served. The appetizers were cold and clammy. (Meatballs, crab cakes, chicken sliders etc). When the Italian buffet came out that’s when everything started to go down hill. I was trying my hardest to stay happy and positive because my Fiancé ended up proposing in the middle of the event. The total for the entire venue was over 4 grand and even after running out of food, food being cold and servers not tending to us we still ended up paying over 3 grand for the event which was ridiculous to me because the room rental was only $750. Me and my friends and family still had to go out to eat after the occasion. It was a very special day to remember for me and I’ll always remember their service.

Rooms are sizable and clean. The shower is small but usable. Hotel is very dog-friendly. Parking is free in a public lot behind the hotel. The Loop neighborhood is very walkable and there are many local restaurants and bars in the area.

The hotel itself was nice, and the restaurant and wait staff were great. The reason for the two stars if after the first night (I stayed for two) I left for the day. Upon return, the bed was made but all the trash and everything was left in the room. However, two of my chargers were missing. I called down to the front desk to see if they were taken by accident or something as I did not want to just assume they were stolen from my room. The guy working the desk said he would look around and contact the cleaners who would of came into my room and call me back within an hour.he never called back and I never heard anything about it. I was unable to charge either of my phones and was forced to leave and go spend another $50 on two separate chargers because those were taken from me.

I've stayed at this hotel several times now and it is always wonderful. The beds are very luxurious, the rooms well appointed, and the staff friendly. It has a great style too!

We spent 1 night here and it was great! Staff were very friendly and the room was beautiful. GREAT views from the rooftop bar. Wish we had been able to try the restaurant as well! Fun place!

This was one of the nicest hotel stays I've ever experienced. Down to the smallest details. The location was prime. Literally a few steps from the Pagent. The rooftop bar was freaking amazing as well. Couldn't say enough good things about this hotel!

Clean, cozy rooms with interesting decor throughout hotel. Check-in was super easy. Many great restaurants in very short walking distance. Whilel I didn't go to it, there is a bar on the roof and a restaurant down stairs. There's a bowling alley next door, a chicken restaurant at the end of the block, really good taco restaurant the next block down, a BBQ one too, and other choices. Washington University is a short walk down the street where we had our conference, and Forest Park with the St Louis zoo is just a short walk away as well. Entrance is totally free for the park and zoo. There's so much greenery here- beautiful brick buildings, tall tall trees and flowers.it's a gorgeous city to visit. Moonrise hotel has a large moon rotating on the roof, and the street has a spacey theme going on. Here's the bus and a train a block over, lots of sidewalks.it's just great place and hotel is ideally located.

My first few nights in the hotel were fine. On Friday night, the music from the concert venue next door was still booming at 1: 00am. I called down to the front desk to ask when the music would end and the person said "right now" and hung up on me. Half an hour later the music was still going. If you want a nice, quiet hotel with polite staff, this is not your hotel. If you like extremely loud music till the early hours of the morning and rude staff, this is just your kind of place.

I have to share an awesome experience I had at the hotel. Years ago my husband and I met at the eclipse restaurant on the roof, and the other day I took our daughter to see where we met. When we were there we met Arthur a staff member and he was so welcoming and went above and beyond. He let us go up to the rooftop so I could show my daughter exactly where we met and look at the city through the binoculars. It was such a fun experience and I am so happy that we met Arthur!

Overall, my husband and I had a decent experience staying at the Moonrise Hotel. While there were a few drawbacks, such as stains on the bedding and bathroom walls, the lack of hand soap, and stiff towels, the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The vintage space age memorabilia was cute, a bit kitschy but nicely themed. We enjoyed the rooftop bar, which provided a relaxing atmosphere and great views of the skyline and St. Louis arch. However, we were disappointed to find that one of the two elevators was out of order and that using the stairs to reach the rooftop was not an option. We also found it confusing to navigate the parking situation, as we were instructed to park in a specific lot labeled "valet parking" even if we weren't paying for valet service. Finding food after 7pm was a bit of a challenge, and the broken white noise machine didn't help with getting a good night's sleep. Despite these issues, we appreciated the hotel accommodating our request for a picture of Roxanne Wolf from FNAF in our room, which was a fun touch. In summary, the Moonrise Hotel is a decent option if you're attending an event at the Pageant next door, but it's not without its flaws. Paid $170 for one night stay in the king room with a jacuzzi.

Parking was a little confusing and fills up quick. In order to get into it you gotta show your room key. The sky bar is AMAZING and the room was great but let me tell you the shower! It was like being in a rain shower it was AMAZING!

Friendly staff and such a cool spot in a fun neighborhood. It was very clean and we enjoyed our time at the rooftop bar thanks to the view and great bartenders.

The hotel location is great but the cars in the parking lot get broken into often. Additionally, if you are looking for a place that includes breakfast this isn't it. There is a restaurant on location but if you need to leave early the hours aren't the best.

Service was awesome. The motel and room are very nice. But the shower was one of those rain shower heads mounted in the ceiling. One can barely get their face out of the water. And the way the glass shower door opens, I could barely squeeze myself into the shower.

Called ahead to make sure electric car charging station worked. It didn't. However, we waited a couple hours for the employees to move their cars so we could plug in to a dilapidated and broken charging station. This is a s-hole hotel in a cool part of STL.

I always have a great experience at the Moonrise. Rooms are clean, spacious and cozy. However, whoever is Yollanda, picking up the phone at night, is extremely rude. I called to get a copy of my invoice, which was never emailed to me at checkout as requested, and she was impatient with my questions and hung up on me. I sure called back to tell her she was rude and hung up. She needs to be fired.
