Hours said they were open. Try going to the beach and road is blocked. There's nothing indicating them being closed online or in person.

Very nice place, quiet and very clean, it would be necessary for someone to take a boat ride

Pretty clean beach, gravel, not sand, so wear appropriate shoes. Kids enjoyed building walls to be broken down when higher waves came in from boats. Restrooms weren't very clean. Nice playground equipment.

Moonshine Beach is a relaxing and wonderful location to dip your toes in and swim to your complete satisfaction. The entry will cost you ($5.00) to get an all day parking pass that you place on your dashboard and is payable by card. The beach has clean public bathrooms and a clean area were you can rinse yourself off. It has a beautiful sandy shore and clear fresh water. Compared to other notable swimming locations near Branson, Moonshine Beach has very clear and clean water worth going to. While standing still within the waters, you can still see your feet and the rocks below.

If you come to Moonshine Beach, the North side of the beach tends to have less people. This side of the beach has more rocks by the shore but the rocks within the waters on the north side are soft to step on. As a result, there are hardly any finely sands particles that floats about in the waters when the floorbed is disturbed and this is a good thing-less dead organic matters in the waters. Overall, the waters are clean and cool during the hot summer days. I also went the day after when it rained and the waters were slightly cooler, but still warm for kids and family to swim in.

There are about plenty of grills and small picnic shelters available to use on a first come first serve basis (approx. 6-8) located about 80-100 ft away from the shore, up on the grass, allowing for a great view of the beach and supervision.

In short, Moonshine Beach is a fantastic location to swim in if you're visiting Branson. If you read this far, I'll share a secret tip as a thank you. East of the parking lot are excavated cliffs that you can see. They are near where you'll park your car. If you look closely, some areas of the cliff have fresh groundwater falling down the cliff like a mini waterfall. Take a final rinse here after your beach time and before you dry off. Be warned, the water is refreshingly cold compared to the beach water! Cheers!

It was very fun! There were a lot of people for holiday, but there was plenty of room for everyone. We sat on the beach for a while, then sat under the trees, and neither one was bad. I very much enjoyed it, and it was well worth the $5. I will go back soon!

We waited an hour to just turn away because they had no parking and you had to wait for people to leave. Go early or don't go at all on the weekends.

This beach is great for families and group activities! Very friendly to everyone and young kids. They do not allow dogs. The water is warm and the beach is clean. My five year old had a great time the current is not very strong for the most part so it’s a safe place for them to get used to lake water: there is no life guard on duty.

The scenery was beautiful, but it appears as if the lake water level is low which there were allot of rocks exposed. It was an ok time.

A little crowded, but a great swim and a great beach. Good place to spend time with family and not have to spend too much money.

Nice beach access we visited for a handful of hours on a Sunday afternoon. The beach was busy and I could see how it would be difficult to find parking if you showed up mid day.
The beach is nice and restrooms and parking area are well maintained.
Would recommend if your into watching sunsets as well.

My husband and I thought Moonshine Beach was beautiful! We went in the evening on a weeknight, and it wasn't too crowded. We were able to find a comfortable spot to sit in the sand, and even dipped our feet in the water (which felt amazing)! There is plenty of parking and only $5 to enter.

Just a wonderful place. Haven’t been there when it’s peak but I could could imagine that it would get really packed but very nice. The only thing that it needs to showers.

It’s the only sand beach on Table Rock Lake and that is due to the Army Corps of Engineers trucking in the sand to create the Sandy beach alongside the dam… it is hot and sunny, so wear shoe’s until you get to the water and put on sunscreen and renew it every two hours… The iron Ranger at the entrance only accepts credit cards, so make sure you bring on… On weekends, the beach fills up by 11: 00 and the line waits for hours to get in… they only allow about 150 cars to park there and when it’s full, the rangers stop entry until someone leaves… so plan accordingly…

We went on a busy Saturday afternoon. They only allow so many people on at one time so had to wait a bit. But once we got in, changed clothes and found us a little spot in the sand it was great. Beautiful area, water was nice! Large covered area with picnic tables, bathrooms and a place to wash the sand off as well.

Great place to take your floating devices, canopy (or post up at one of the picnic areas), and grill out. This is a first come, first served beach. The earlier you arrive, the more likely you are to get a good spot. Depending on the day, of course. Once the lot is filled, it is one out one in. Plan accordingly. It's a little beach with friendly staff. A great place to spend a few hours or the day.
