Muffler City, Springfield MO

Just came in to get a quote but they were so nice and gave such a great price I decided to just get it done. Had an aftermarket muffler I was getting installed.
Only took 20 minutes from when I got there to when I left. They even painted it black to match everything else.

After experiencing several misdiagnoses and spending over $650+ on parts and labor, the issue I brought my vehicle in for remains unresolved. When I scheduled an appointment to have the vehicle inspected, it sat idle for several days without any attention, leaving me without transportation for an extended period.

I genuinely wish to have the original issue addressed; however, I cannot afford to continue with guessing at repairs that end up costing me more. In 2022, when I previously had work done on my vehicle, I received it back with several error codes, some of which I managed to resolve. Unfortunately, the most recent code I had addressed has persisted as a problem since I retrieved the vehicle originally and continues to be an issue.

I was traveling cross country from Ohio to Texas. I spent the night at a hotel nearby. When I woke up i found one of my tires was almost flat. I dropped by Muffler City as soon as they opened. The puncture ended up being in the sidewall as wasn’t repairable. But they put my spare on and got me back on the road and I made it home to my family on time. They guys were friendly, knew their stuff and eager to help. I would suggest this shop to locals or those like me far from home that need help.

Awesome. Honest. Reasonable. Great customer service. I went to Complete Automotive and they said it would be $2700 to fix my air conditioning in my Chevy equinox. It was almost a third of that at Muffler City. Thanks, Danny.

This is a no bs review. They are knowledgeable. They have great customer service. They are most importantly HONEST. They do great work. They are relatively less expensive than other car shops i know of in the area. I will always bring my truck or future vehicles to them. Muffler City is awesome.

This is the only shop I have ever work on any of my vehicles since moving to Springfield 16 years ago. The best quality work for the lowest shop hour rates.

These guys are wonderful. I own a few taxis and they have helped me out of a jam numerous times. These guys have integrity and are very honest good ol boys I recommend them to everyone I know.
