Mythos, Joplin MO

My wife talked me into trying Greek for the first time. I ended up getting the sampler so I could experience a little of everything. First off the tomato soup is amazing & I was very pleased with all the different options of foods.

Food and service were amazing! Building is newly remodeled and atmosphere is exceptional. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Hands down my favorite Joplin restaurant. Had lunch there for the first time in a while and tried a new panini - Now I crave it every day! Great food no matter what you order - it is DIVINE! Always top notch service too!

Great lunch menu. The spicy feta appetizer is delicious. Everything tasted really good and the presentation was great. Nicolas provided great service.

Any discerning Joplinite will tell you that Mythos and Wilder's are the best places to get a good steak here. Anyone who rates this place less than 5 stars does not know what they're talking about IMHO. Only weird thing is the side of soup that comes your meal is tiny, whereas the salad you get is normal size if you opt for it instead.

Nicholas was Outstanding. He delived Exceptional Service and met our every need. An Outstanding establishment with an excellent staff. Thank you Mythos for a wonderful dinner. I can't wait to visit again. Like tomorrow.

Great restaurant! I would give it 4.5 stars but I can't. My 3rd time here and every one has been memorable. Food, ambiance, & service is outstanding throughout. Can't wait till my next visit.

Our absolute FAVORITE place to eat in Joplin! Wide variety of delicious food, amazing/friendly staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. We go every chance we get!

Great place for excellent gyros in Joplin. Just wish I would receive the extra onions, bread, and tomato that I ask for. I made three orders and never receive what I ask for. It has been months since I have visited.

My Mom and I celebrated here birthday at Mythos this evening. Everything was beyond delicious. We started with saganaki, that was flamed at the table by our server Nicholas. I had the habenero tuna and Mom had honey lime chicken both were amazing. The asparagus that accompanied my tuna was cooked to perfection. We finished with chocolate cake, strawberry cheesecake and falling into a good food coma.
It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Mythos to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

WOW. Great beer and great food. Atmosphere was quiet and classic. Great selection of drinks and the bartender was awesome. We sat at the bar. Probably the best steak I have had in awhile.

This was our first time here. It was okay. We ordered Crab cakes as an appetizer and they lacked flavor and were a really spongy/rubbery texture. The rolls were delicious! The pita bread taste store bought. The Greek salad was amazing! I ordered the Moussaka Dish and it had so many layers of flavors, it was definitely the highlight of the dinner. My husband ordered the Ahi Tuna with Habanero. The hollandaise sauce tasted like cheese whiz but with a kick. The rissoto had a sharp almost chemical taste to it. And then the Ahi Tuna just lacked appeal, definitely not in my top ten of ahi tuna I have eaten. We had La creme brulee for dessert and it was just okay as well.

Alot of people seem to like this.maybe if we tried something entirely different than the Ahi Tuna I wouldn't have been so disappointed.

Finally went for lunch. The spicy dip was excellent. Spicy but still able to eat it with the toasted pita bread. I had a Turkey panini with house fries. We’ll be back for sure.

We really enjoyed dining here. We had reservations for my birthday and we were seated immediately. We were surprised how busy the restaurant was for a Tuesday evening, but I figure that attests to the quality of food & service.
Excellent menu options, presentation, food quality & taste. Our server (Damon) was attentive and communicative and I thought did an excellent job handling his tables - even with a large group table.
The Ahi Tuna Poke appetizer is a must!

What can I say, the food and the service were excellent. We both had the Tour of Mythos and it was as good as the last time we were there (pre-Covid). The stuffed grapes leaves (Dolmades) were wonderful and the gyro meat was so tender and flavorful.
The spinach stuffed puff pastry was very light and fluffy as was the cheese filled puff pastry. I cannot say how desserts are as there is so much food, we were too full to have any. We have eaten at Mythos many times and have NEVER been disappointed.

Best shrimp alfredo I've ever tasted in my life. Their strawberry shortcake? To die for. Huge serving, huge flavor. TREMENDOUS customer service. Wish I could rate 6 stars.

My wife and I have celebrated our anniversary here every year for ten years. It was also our first date. We drove here from Tulsa for the past three years and will continue into the foreseeable future.

Mythos is as classy as you could hope for. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. Don't miss this experience.

This is the best place to eat in Joplin, Missouri for sure and one of the best places I’ve eaten anywhere in the world. The filet is the best steak I’ve had anywhere. The staff is friendly, food is consistently delicious, hot, and comes out quickly. You can’t go wrong here.
