This post is about staff, NOT food quality! We are steady, once a week patrons and have noticed a increasing decline in speed, service, and quality over the last few months. Normally, we wouldn't post but we don't know how else to bring our bad experience to the owners attention. After ordering in the drive thru tonight we waited another 15 minutes for our order (we understand custom, fresh made food takes time). Once we arrived at the pickup window we checked our order for accuracy and sadly, it was wrong. We got the attention of the cashier and handed our box back. The cook came over to the window and when informed of the issue she told us the order was NOT wrong, and handed the box back to us. When we opened up the box and literally showed her the error, she reponded "my bad". Seriously? No offer for replacement or anything. At that point we pulled away realizing that no one really cared. Honestly, a quick apology or offer to redo would have made all the difference in the world. I mean, we stuck with Nacho Mama's through the entire pandemic, recommending you to our friends, and fully understanding the price increases due to the rising costs of supplies. But the lack of accuracy, accountability, and customer concern/service could really keep us from coming back in the future.

Aliens found blurry pictures of Mexican food and are trying to recreate it here. Dont get probed its not worth it. And the chips where stale.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews especially of small businesses but I’ve had consistently horrible experiences everytime we order from here. As you can see in other reviews the staff is very rude so I feel like I leave upset everytime I get my food. The parking lot is a mess and they insist on making you rearrange whether you are about to hit a car or not. On top of that our food was so expensive. When I asked the girl why she again had an attitude so I just called when I got home. I added up the prices on the menu which was $26 and the total they charged me was $33. I explained this to the girl who answered and she said “ it’s not my job to know prices I just work here “. That should literally be one of your main things you know as an employee…

The manager was apologetic about our experiences and explained they had raised their food prices by 10%. I told him that wasn’t reflected on the website at all. The managers always apologize to me but they never do anything to fix the problem or offer anything for your annoyance or sometimes forgetting of the food in your order.

Unfortunately this is one neighborhood place we will be saying bye to for good

I came by here for the first time tonight. I didn’t take any pictures but we ordered a ground beef and chicken chimichanga and a shrimp quesadilla. We also ordered queso and guacamole. We were pleasantly surprised. This is Tex Mex for those looking for traditional Mexican flavors. The guacamole was so fresh and we all enjoyed our meals. We found everything to be very flavorful, hot and fresh. From meeting and talking to the owner to talking to the sweet girl at the window, our whole experience was a win and we will definitely go back. Also, that sauce that comes with the chimichanga I could drink. I loved it.

I’ve been in here, or tried, every couple weeks since pre-pandemic times. With a few cars in the lot and drive through, things get crowded quick and I can’t even get in all the time.
I tried again, with a few cars in the drive through, 2 open spaces on the side & the whole back lot open. 2 spaces on the side leave me blocked in when the cars stack up in the drive through. Tried to park in the back lot as usual, where all the striped spaces are open but the owner was sitting back there in her SUV telling people they can’t park there. The drive through lane was clearly marked, but nothing else was. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t block off marked spaces that you don’t want used and I don’t understand businesses that actually make it difficult to spend your money there. So I didn’t.

Been eating here since it first opened. It’s a must for me when I’m back in town. Love the crispy beef and chicken fajita tacos.

What a great place! Independently owned, top-notch Tex-Mex. Iced drinks, homemade lemonade, cold beer, great food. Fast service, friendly people. Affordable. Who could ask for anything more?

My favorite place to eat. Tacos are delicious. Guacamole made from scratch. Chips are a la carte if you want them. Not fast but not slow - definitely worth a few minutes wait. Strange that someone said the food is microwaved and worse than Taco Bell. You can see them making the food in the kitchen. Definitely more flavorful compared to Taco Bell and most Midwestern mexican places. Same owners since the 1990s and they are always present and clearly take pride in their business.

Food is okay but freakishly expensive for what it is. You serve yourself and the staff is consistently rude. The owner, should you have the misfortune of meeting her, is the rudest of them all. She is far more concerned with profit than customer service. They are so stingy with the salsa. I have eaten here many, many times but I have finally given up. There is also little to no diversity in the staff. Wonder why people of color don't want to work here? Or maybe they just don't get hired.
EDITED TO ADD: Tried this place again last Wednesday. Got there at 8: 13 and was treated by staff like we had come in as the door was locking for close. When I asked about it they said, yeah you are coming in late so I checked their hours online and on the door and both said they were open until 9: 30 so I asked the woman at the register and she said "Well, it feels late"! They took our order but kept treating us like we did something wrong for coming in "so late" heavy sighing and side eyes from the cooks and the order taker calling back the order to the cooks with a very annoyed tone. They got a rush of others (about 15-18 people) and we listened as they chastised each of them for the same. It was truly bizarre and very uncomfortable. We left about 9: 15 and had to wait for the worker to come unlock the door with a key from the inside to be let out as they had locked us in (seems like a fire code violation). I think these people hate their customers. Why? We came in to order food and support your restaurant. If you don't want to serve people after 8 then CLOSE AT 8.

Been here a few time twice this week first time food was great but a little slow coming out today I got a burrito bowl had about 3 strips of meat and wasn't that great. I guess it's just a matter if what you order.

The food is not good. You can tell it's premade and microwaved. The rice was still hard and the beans definitely werent fully cooked. I've had a better quesadilla from taco bell.

This is a nice little place for a quick bite. It's nothing fancy, but the food is good. It's TEX mex.not authentic Mexican. It sort of reminded me of a diner the way you order at the front counter and get a tray. They also have a drive through. It was a cute place and the name is eye-catching. I'd go back sometime, and I'd recommend others to stop by.

Kind of a strange experience tonight.

(Clarification: Phone/online/drive-thru orders end at 5pm.)

The dining room allegedly closes at "9: 30. "

However when we went inside at 9: 02, immediately an older woman in a blue sweatshirt told us they were closed.but that she would ask the cook if he could make something small for us to take it with us (like, on our way to someplace that's open?) Good news, apparently he said yes. Um.okay.

Another customer overheard the woman and told us they close at 9: 30 — the other customer said they got there at *8: 15* and she told them the same thing.

They used to sell traditional refrescos (Jarritos, Señorial, Sangría, Manzana) in the glass bottles but today the older lady said they don't sell them anymore. This is the same lady who is telling everyone they're already closed, so I'm not sure how credible it is. They only had mineral water, cerveza, and fountain drinks.

At 9: 15 she locked the front door. They are not taking any chances.

I was confused. This was different than other times I've visited, and I'm not sure if that's just the way things are now? Or is she confused and discouraging customers an hour and a half early? Did they really get rid of their non-alcoholic refrescos?

I love the fajita steak tacos here, the chips and salsa are also very good. Friendly service and very popular one of the best restaurants in the city. Prices are very good for the quality and service is decently quick despite how busy they can get around peak hours.

You can tell they only pay min wage. The drive through attendant was incredibly rude. It was 5/23/22 at 5: 15pm. Asked to add grilled onions and she said "it doesn't come with onions" then we asked if we could add enchalida sauce to a burrito bowl and she said no and that we were going too fast.

The service here could use a good revamping on being there for the customer, perhaps. Food is good but nothing to rave over.

The fajitas steak taco here is the best! They have a small but nice restaurant and also have outdoor seating.
They are fast for high quality food. One of the best tex mex in the country in my opinion. Their chips and salsa are popular but the fajitas steak taco is what really shines. Service here has also usually stood out as friendly. Price is pretty good too nothing is cheap these days but they come close.

Amazing food, but employees are pretty rude when you order through the drive-thru. Their speaker system is not the best, so they get annoyed at you because of that. They also don't like to answer questions that you may have! I wish they were nicer.

Disgusting. Tbh not a huge tex Mex fan (authentic Mex preferred) but this was the must disgusting chicken chimi I have had the displeasure to throw away. Mostly rice, onion, beans, gross red sauce ate half with only one a tiny piece of chicken. Partner had 1/4 chicken and it was barely a leg. I guess if you like nachos with no lettuce then ok.small menu board. Lots of people like it, unpopular opinion I know, never going back
