Nails & Beyond, Kansas City MO

This is my go-to nail salon here in Tiffany Springs! They consistently do a great job, and they always impress me with their ability to create beautiful nail art.

My pedicure and manicure were great, however the additional $30 dollar charge that I got surprised with at payment was not cool. I called before hand and scheduled a dip manicure and a regular pedicure. When I arrive they asked me what I was there for and they put me in the chair and had me pick out my color so I did. Once I got to the chair and she proceeded to give me a gel pedicure which I assumed was part of the upgrade I chose for my pedicure when I sat down, but nope. I not only paid more for my pedicure but I also got an additional $20 dollar charge for gel polish. I didn’t mind paying the additional $10 dollars for my manicure despite not being told it was an additional charge (dip polish by the way is $40). I am so disappointed because I thought I found my new nail salon but after expecting a $75 dollar service and then getting charged with $105 before tip, i will not be going back. There is absolutely zero communication to you about the additional charges.

I called at 6: 30 they closed at 7: 30. I asked if they could do the gel mani and pedi they told me yes if you can come now… They were very nice and did a great job! I will definitely go back there next time I’m in the area!

They did an awesome job on my nails and I must she is very patient and took her time getting my nails to look fabulous.

I got my nails done today and I got less work than I normally do and it cost more money than it did 30 days ago I can't believe that their explanation make no sense if they're going to keep adding on 5+5 +5+3+ The Dip Manicure price. This reminds me of going to the grocery store paying more money for less products. Update: I am in business I know business I have been in business 40 plus years and my service was less & rushed.

Always a great time when I go. The ladies are all very sweet and kind. They do a fantastic job on my nails.

Even though they’re pretty busy consistently, they do a good job I’m getting people in with little to no waiting. They do a nice job on your nails and they are fast fully stocked and the manager is on point and very people friendly.

Convinced me to do dip nails instead of my usual gel. My whole right hand has popped off already. Just came clean off. I got them done Saturday.

I go see Tina regularly now. I’ve been to almost every nail salon in the KCMO northland area and I’m happy to say that I keep coming back here! I usually get a manicure with dip and facial waxing done. She’s thorough and careful to meet my special needs. I have thin nails so they need to be thick and short. She’s all over it, and the eyebrow waxing is very pleasant. I have a ton of hair and I’ve always had wax strings or complete globs of wax in my hair due to the techs carelessness. Totally ruins any hairdo. But with her I don’t worry about a thing.

My sister and i received pedicures by two of the most beautifully sweet ladies. They explained n took great care with the service that they rendered. I felt very relaxed in this facility.

Just got an amazing dip powder manicure from Julie! She is so fast and listens to exactly what you want. The last manicure I got in Idaho absolutely destroyed my cuticles and she was very careful not to irritate them. Very clean inside and smells great. Will definitely come back when I am in KC!

My daughter and I went there yesterday (June 1st) after I was finished with work. We got there about 6: 20 (they close at 7: 30). First impression was great! Looks very clean, very friendly staff, they use liners on their pedicure water bowls and the chairs are nice too. The pedicures started and they seemed fine at first. Nice soak and cuticle work. Then they trimmed the nails. The nails on our big toes were crooked! Then they did the callus removal. For about 30 seconds on each foot. Needless to say, I still have callouses. The paint was good on my toes except she didn't get the front of the nail. They basically slapped some paint on my daughter's toe nails and called it good. About 2 minutes after they were finished, both ladies had their purses and were headed out the door. There's a very small chance it's give this place another chance but definitely not close to closing time.

Loved my pedicure but got my eyebrows done and one looked untouched. So was kind of embarrassed when I went to event that night but overall place was nice.

For any gal or guy who needs nail care in the north Kansas City or Platte County area, I would suggest you head to visit the specialists at Nails and Beyond. They are conveniently located at the Tiffany Springs Market Center just off Hwy 152, a perfect location if you need to run errands at Target, Aldi or Home Depot. They are welcoming the moment you walk in the door! The salon area is clean, as is the bathroom! One of the things I like best is that fact that they line their foot sinks with a plastic barrier for the pedicures so you will never risk fungus cropping up in your nails as a result of going there.

The music is relaxing and set to the perfect volume. The specialists talk between themselves occasionally in hushed tones to not disturb their clients, and many of them know their clients quite well. There is a positive hum of activity and I have never seen a sour or moody person working here. They all exude joy and are very pleasant. Most of the specialists here are female but they do have one male nail specialist. I usually get a deluxe gel pedicure here and have also had my eye brows waxed (ask for Trina or Jeannie, they are great at everything, including the waxing!) …my twin gets a gel mani and pedi and facial waxing as well. If you like a neutral pedi that goes with everything, try the OPI gel 301…

I have to admit I don’t ask for a favorite nail specialist…I have never had a bad pedi here, so if you walk in, you’ll likely be thrilled with whoever you draw that day. Trina, though, is super so if you want her, you need to call ahead.

I absolutely love going here. It is worth the hour drive. Friendly staff and they make sure you leave happy and feeling pampered! I take someone (family or friend) with me every time and it becomes their new favorite place to go!

This is my favorite nail Solon they do a really nice job. But the young lady was very rude to me because I didn’t make an appointment. It makes me not even want to come anymore: learn how to have respect for people and customer service: The ladies that do my nails are always so nice to me

Mostly good experiences here, but today they whipped out Ped Eggs to use on my daughter and I. Pretty use these are not allowed since they are like micro blades and there is no way to effectively heat sterilize these. The plastic would melt.
