First, I'm upset by having to do this type of review because it's rather say something good or nothing at all. I see the series of events as being very inconsiderate, disrespectful, manipulative, and offensive to my intelligence. I do not like being inconvenienced with my time or my money and then being addressed as if it's my fault and as if I dont matter. I arrived at napleton Kia in St. Peters, Missouri at 9: 30 a.m. To have a simple repaire done I was getting one of my seats repaired in my 2022 Telluride. I ordered the part and pay for it the week prior. The park cost me over $900. I was checked in by a person named Sid on 9/14 which was my scheduled appointment. My daughter, 1 yr old granddaughter and I stayed in the surrounding area and the majority of the time I was at the dealership waiting. What I was made to understand is that it would be not an all-day process with repairing my seat. At 3: 00 p.m. Sid text me and said that he needed to order an extra cushion for my vehicle which was not said to me the week prior when they looked at my vehicle and had me pay up front for the part. So I told him to repair the vehicle as is and don't order another part for over $500. An hour and a half later 4: 30) Sid text me and said they won't be able to finish my vehicle the same day and that he will call me the next day which would be September 15th to let me know when my vehicle was ready. He said he had been texting me and calling me all day without a response. I have a few major problems with dealing with napleton Kia. The first one is that Sid lied about communicating with me. The second problem is that my time was wasted. I missed out on income. I also missed out on attending a college course that I'm enrolled in.

Our journey with Napleton Kia started a bit rocky, as I had initially placed an order for the vehicle with a different salesperson whose employment at the dealership ended shortly after. The experience turned frustrating as I struggled to find someone in sales who could assist me with my existing order. After spending a significant amount of time on hold and being transferred back and forth between sales personnel and reception, I was finally connected with Alexis.
From the moment she took over, Alexis demonstrated a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service. She took ownership of our experience and went above and beyond to ensure it was overall a positive one. She kept me consistently updated on the status of my order and the expected delivery date. When the window sticker became available, we discovered that the original salesperson had placed the order incorrectly, resulting in an 8-seat configuration instead of the 7-seat configuration with VIP seats that I had wanted.
She immediately looked to rectify the situation. She first searched for available inventory at surrounding dealerships, but unfortunately, we couldn't find the exact color combination I preferred. A second order for the configuration I wanted was promptly placed, and she even offered me the first right of refusal on the 8-seat model when it arrived. Our first order was placed on 7/3 and had an expected delivery date of 10/2. It arrived much earlier than anticipated on 8/29. At the dealership, Alexis' outstanding customer service continued to shine in person. Her transparent, no-pressure approach was refreshing after dealing with salespeople at several other dealerships over the course of three months. She even worked to get us 1 year of maintenance for the earlier troubles we had with the dealership.
Went with the 8-seater and couldn't be happier with our choice. I’d recommend Alexis to anyone looking for a Kia!
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had with getting an oil change. It took 2 hours, no one came and updated me on the progress of my vehicle which had happened in the past, and it was almost $90 for a basic oil change. Absolutely terrible experience!
Why does it take two hours and about $30 more to change my oil when I could go down the street and get it done for half the price and definitely half of the time. That was two hours of my life I’ll never get back, and I will not be going back there. I should’ve known, by the experience I had purchasing my car there that it was not an upstanding place of business.
This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car dealership my car check engine light came on a week after I bought it. I brought it back and they left me stranded with no car and nine months pregnant when I got my car back the car still didn’t work they sold me a lemon car and it’s suppose to be covered under warranty I’ve been paying my payments on time and I still do not have a vehicle. This car company ruins peoples lives. I don’t recommend them for anybody. 5,000 plus in the whole and no vehicle they don’t care because I’m a black woman.
My wife and I worked with Kris Portnoy here and he was amazing. Not only did he help us look at cars and find the one for us, but he did everything he could to get us the right price we were looking for. My wife and I are very happy with the car we purchased, thank you so much Kris. Also Jim in financing was amazing as well!
