Nature's Own Health Market reviews
7I agree with the person below, "negative stars". Couldn't have put it better myself.place is sketch at best.major sus.like major! Sticky fingers.as mentioned below: check those receipts!
Not sure what happened to Captain Cranky below me, but I’ve never had a bad experience here. (Paying attention to the total before you pay miiiiiight help in the future. Yanno, do your due diligence as a consumer.)
The staff are friendly. Prices are decent. Selection is impressive given the space they’re working with. I’ll keep coming back.
Small store, easy to navigate. Always has quality essentials and some cool local offerings on occasion. The staff is always kind.
Squeaky clean, well-stocked, friendly staff, great sales all the time! This is our go-to for vegetarian/vegan specialty groceries.
This store is decent. It’s small but had a lot of the packaged items one would need. The produce, however, always seems to be old, wrinkled and sometimes even actively rotting. It is close to my home but I tend to just drive all the way to Whole Foods if I forget a produce item, since their items are often not fresh. The water, however, is very good. We refill our water here because it tastes much better than Whole Foods. Last week I forgot Thai Basil for a dish I was cooking and called the store to ask if they had it. They said they did so I drove in. No one appeared to be working but I looked for the herb and didn’t see it. After wandering around the store for several minutes and yelling “hello”, the girl working came out from the back. I told her I was the one who just called about the Thai basil and that I didn’t see it. She picked up a container of regular basil and asked if that was it. I said no. She then asked if I had called a different store. I told her no (and recognized her voice as the person I spoke to) and then she said someone had bought all of it since I called. Hmm. It was only 5 minutes ago and from what I could tell, she was in the back doing something extracurricular. She was very scattered and unhelpful, knocking stuff over and having trouble focusing. I was a bit annoyed she had wasted my time. Some of the employees there are really lovely tho. This place is just kinda hit and miss. Yes for gluten-free, dairy-free and organic packaged options. Yes for water. No for produce or consistent service.
Great selection of natural and local foods, especially organic produce. Friendly and helpful staff
Until today I have never written a review but this is one I should have written 1.5 years ago. I will never step foot in this store again. If I could give it negative five stars I would. I was treated so rudely like a second class citizen and kicked out for not wearing a mask while I had an exception. When I started to explain my situation the two employees berated me and the young girl insinuated I could be lying. Those two were power tripping and bullying me and that isn’t how I would ever treat my customers. The story goes on but not worth my time rehashing it. It was very upsetting and I much rather spend my money at Natural Grocers when I come visit KC where I have always been treated with the upmost respect. Shame on all of you.
