7Terrible experience! The junk boat I rented (broken seats/cigarette butts lined the bottom) from them broke down in the middle of the lake. The owner came after I was stranded for about an hour getting blown around by the wind and towed me back an hour and a half to the marina. They tried to charge me full price for the day (even though I only could use half of the day worth of rental due to THEIR boat). They settled on giving me $10 back, and had the audacity to kick me off the property since they were "done dealing with me". The crazy wife of the owner told him I called her a liar and yelled at her. I was completely offended as I would never tyll at a woman. Buyer be ware! NEVER AGAIN!

This place is great. Friendly staff, tons of reasonably priced products, great ice cream! Always come here for gas and supplies. Love it.

The folks are nice, but not really helpful. Had a reservation set up 2 weeks in advance, had my card info given for deposit. Get called a week later asking where I was. Found out there was a mistake on the reservation and my options were go to the lake that day with whoever I could find and pay full 8 hour price for 6hours or pay the 2 hour price cancellation fee ($260). Couldn't be adjusted for a partial day so that sucked.
The reason I'm giving 1 star is that this is an honest mistake that could have been easily caught with a confirmation email. Idk who was at fault. I think what happened was I asked about weekend of the 26th she said Friday and Saturday are booked and I asked about Sunday and instead of Sunday the 26th she thought Sunday the 19th. I could be wrong it was a week ago.
When I spoke to the lady on Sunday (after finding out about the mistake), I asked if there's a confirmation email that's sent out or something that I missed trying to figure out what went wrong. She told me she doesn't do confirmation emails unless the customer specifically requests it. And she also doesn't offer to send one, her words.
That to me is a huge problem because it makes foul play easier for them and it makes the customer liable for their mistakes even if it was a simple one.
Drive or boat, I love coming to this place. Great atmosphere. They have pineapple whip now!
