I work for a photography company and we came to setup to do sports portraits of all the athletes for Nixa Parks & Rec. The kids were so much fun to work with.

Great place to swim in the summer! I took swim lessons here when I was little and now I'm a competitive swimmer making it to championships! The swim instructors are so nice and care about the kids they are teaching and would recommend for people who want to have their kids learn to swim. I've also been inside the community center and the staff is super nice and it's a nice place to workout when I want to!

500 plus a year for membership here is a joke. Basketball courts are always occupied with volleyball or kids kicking balls around. If you want a membership for basketball or shooting don't choose this place.

Staff cares about the perception of customers - they are attentive, friendly- but will absolutely keep nonsense to a minimum - so you can enjoy a nice atmosphere while exercising.

There are a lot of local youth here at any given time - but they are mostly respectful, and nice.

The equipment is great - staff keeps things clean. The facilities are nice and spacious, and events here seem well run/organized.

My entire family is quite happy to have our membership here.

Daughter came here to level up to next belt in taé kwondo. Very clean place with a lot of activities going on in the building. Super friendly staff.

Great place for families, however, the faculty doesn't always have the welcoming personality. If a member has a question the receptionist (depending who it is) makes it seem like it is a bother for one to ask the question.

The equipment is not great, not kept up with, and there is not enough of each machine.the work manager of the gym portion is very rude.cant deadlift or do many other workouts.kids are always running around and the only workers that seem to do anything are the teens to young adults.many other members are very rude and problems don't get resolved.yes this gym is cheep, but if you care about lifting at all please go to a different gym.also the bathrooms are pretty dirty.

This place is a God send. If not for the low cost per season here. I would have never been able to afford to allow little man to try so many sports! He was able to try each sport and in a non competitive way he learned which sports he could excell at and wanted to stick with.another cool thing.they hire teenagers.it's just a place that is all about encouraging healthy behavior in adults and children in the community. It is a wonderful extension of Parks and Recs.
