Great service, got to go canoeing for 3 hours or so. It was worth the money. Fun family time and great way of getting excercise.
Warning your arms will hurt if like me you aren't used to it. So be prepared. But it was all worth it.

Great place to go for a float trip. If you take the short route, there is a small cliff/overhang you can jump off into the water. Plenty of sand shores to stop on. Have good showers and bathrooms

Nice place to camp and float and the nice couple that run the place always had a smile and I enjoyed the conversation. We will be back in the future.

Great camp site & float. Well stocked convenience center. The drive up and down to the camp site is steep and on gravel road, so be wary if you have low suspension or during inclement weather.

We have used them a couple of times now.greatly enjoyed both trips - they are laid back and very friendly.of course, it would be better if the river wasn't so crowded, but almost everyone we met along the way were friendly too.

Spread out too far from our group, some up to and some down below. Roads were horrible, pot holes everywhere

Love this place. I've been camping/floating here for 20+ years. Plus the free 2 nights camping with a raft, canoe, or kayak rental is the best deal around

We planned to go here in June but there was a chance of rain and we live 3 hours away. The staff gave us a rain check without hesitation. We used our rain check Labor Day weekend. The free camping with a float is awesome. The bath house was the cleanest and nicest bathhouse I have seen in my entire life. The staff was friendly and welcomed us and our dog. The fact they let dogs float in rafts at NRO was a huge selling point for us! We had the best time and the dog loved it too!

Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. They seem to enjoy what they do and it shows. Prices were slightly higher than nearby competitors but still reasonable.

If you rent a cabin they will pick you up and drop you off at the river put in. If you find something wrong with the stay, inform the staff so they have a chance to fix it.

This is now our yearly float trip destination! 16 adults and 19 kids travel from Kansas City area to float the Niangua. We are treated well every single year! Next year will be our 5th annual trip- wow! We would not consider going anywhere else! The staff is always fantastic and efficient from check in to bus to float staff to check out. Definitely a must for a family-of-friends or just your family. Book early, they fill up fast because we aren't the only ones who love this place!

Went through the week for a more family oriented experience. Bus driver was great, guys putting you in and at your take out could use some customer service skills.

Good price, and a busy party river. Staff is friendly. Careful of Park rangers watching everything. They are hidden and you won't see them but they will see you. Follow the law and you'll be fine!

We had a great time. The only issue I had was the r.v. Site outlet are on the opposite end of what normal sites are. No biggie just pulled in instead of backing in.

Relaxing, family fun, fur baby friendly, during Sunday thru Friday
Saturdays can be more fun for the party crowd but take it with a grain of salt everyone is entitled to enjoy the river in their own way

Great fun, just wish we had a guide to help us as we all are over 55 and 70+ we old people sure tire out.

I've been going here since I was a little girl. Bob & Barb Burns and the NRO family are like family to me and they'll treat you the same way!

Rafts are expensive. Their rates change as the dates get closer. They have a lot of rules. It's very crowded but extremely fun. More for adults though
