Oak Hollow Campground, Canton MO

Called to inquire about camping and the guy was seriously rude! They have no bathroom facilities at all. This should be stated on the website if he is going to be so touchy about it!

Beautiful, well kept camp- ground! It's small so there's not a lot of traffic in and out which we liked. Everything is new and fresh looking and sits in a lovely wooded area. There was a heat advisory this weekend and we almost decided it was going to be too hot to camp but our spot was so perfectly shaded and we were able to sit outdoors all weekend and enjoy the peace and quiet! They have a beautiful new pool. All spots are a large, level concrete pad with easy hookup access. Our spot was large enough for our 32' Class A with at least an additional 8-9' x 30' of concrete under our awning to sit on and enjoy. It was a VERY relaxing weekend. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Wonderful cabins! Clean, well-stocked and modern! Perfect getaway from all the noise and hustle! No WiFi - so prepare to be unplugged! Playground, fishing pond and a salt-water pool to keep the kids busy!

Last minute campsite need and we found this hidden gem based on reviews. Had been driving for twelve hours and needed a place on our path where my boys could swim once we landed. This place did not disappoint. The owner was friendly when we called and got us in for the night. The camp hosts were about the friendliest and most helpful hosts I have ever encountered. Sites were paved and level. There is a small
Pool and playground and a little fishing pond. No store or bathhouse on site so be prepared for that. GPS directions will fail you but the owner patiently directed us over the phone when they did. A little over a mile dirt/gravel road. Highly recommend

Stacy was the most dedicated hostess, willing to please everyone. She was very personable and available. She loves what she does and hopes that people know that her goal as hostess is to make sure that visitors enjoy themselves. Stacy is the same as the campers – she just found a way to not go home! Now for the bad…The owner needs to take some lessons on how to treat his guests! He really needs to work on his people skills. No reason to treat people like he treated us when we first got there! I don't need that, I wanted to get away from stress, not go stay where someone was going to be rude to us! We had 3 campers with us, nice modern campers at that! If it wasn’t for the camp hostess, Stacy, we would have left. As the weekend went on, the owner did come around and his demeanor had changed. But, we done felt like a thorn in his side. Stacy was so kind and respectful, she made us feel welcomed! She is a sweetheart and knows how to treat the guests in a friendly and business like manner, the way guests should be treated!

Amazing camping experience! The cabins were beautiful and the host was very accommodating! Couldn't have asked for a better time!

Hidden Gem in the country. We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay. Clean (especially the firepits), quite and comfortable. Earl is a great host and now a friend. Close to the best Tenderloin Sandwiches in the midwest.

Fantastic campground at reasonable price … very friendly owners & host …quite, pool, playground, fishing pond, level concrete pads & hiking …full hook up…No shower house/ bathroom but we were self contained…the granddaughter & her friend really enjoyed the time there fishing & swimming … geode hunting place close by …. Will for sure go back
