Oakville Sports Pub reviews
15 I have one problem with this establishment, there are always a large number of unattended children running and screaming throughout the bar.
Most adults go to a bar to get away from children. I would recommend having customers control their kids because the atmosphere you having going now is exactly like a Chuck E. Cheese.
My wife ordered the French dip and it was dry and flavorless. I got the wings "trashed" but when they came out, they were dry as a bone; the server politely explained that they are sauced THEN fried, making the saucing step completely superfluous and resulting in dry wings with minimal flavor. I got a single serving of sauce upon request but it couldn't rehydrate any food and didn't taste like a combination of all sauces, just hot sauce.
The wings are really good. A tobasco based sauce that was nice and tangy. My husband really enjoyed his Billy Burger. The French fries were the coated kind, which were not indicated on the menu. That is a pet peeve of mine and they were not enjoyable. It brought the enjoyment level down for me. The wait staff and assistants were very nice and attentive.
Went for dinner with friends.
Had the ravioli pizza. It's essentially a pizza in ravioli form. Marinara sauce for the base, ravioli meat, crust was crispy like a ravioli, and a side of marinara. It was an interesting experience. But not something I'd order again.
Had the garlic parm fries. The fries were well seasoned with a very nice crunch. Preferred the fries over the pizza.
The server was amazing. Great service. Beers kept coming and she stopped by frequently to see how we were doing or if we needed anything.
Met some Hockey dads here for some drinks. It was a Saturday night and the inside was empty except a couple at the bar. We sat outside and that was pretty full since it was a nice night. The server was on point and kept our drinks coming. One of our party was drinking from the joint bar, Tap Haus, and they had a server taking care of him also. It was a nice place to hang out and have fun conversations, but would have been odd inside since it was empty. Not sure if that is standard at this place. Note We did not eat so I can’t comment on the food.
The food has been horrible the last two times when I called to say something about it they act like they didn't care
Very nice place to have drinks with friends. Great service and very friendly staff. We didn't have anything to eat, but the food looked awesome. We will definitely be back to enjoy some food and drinks.
Server was nice. Most non seasoned "Cajun" chicken I've ever had. Came out burnt the first time.
Great place for food and drinks! Perfect spot to watch the game and hang with friends. 10/10.
Good food, good service. Great place to watch some Mizzou basketball.or just about any sport.
Our server, who was also the bartender, was amazing! I wish I had remembered her name. My daughter and I went there for lunch, and the place is open, clean, and the food was great. The overall atmosphere was awesome! It was our first time here and we will definitely be back.
Had a Club sandwich that was really good. Huge portions, really great price and great service.
Bartenders lacked motivation took an hour for them to get us a menu and another hour to get food
12/10/22 - Walked in with family passed several tables with reserved signs to very back tables with “no” reserve signs (only available tables). Waitress came out, and said the table we are at was reserved as well (hadn’t got to marking them), but people wouldn’t be there til 6pm- it was 5: 10. Told her that was plenty of time for us if works for them and she said she could make happen on her end with our orders. Two minutes later manager comes by in says we need to leave the table…we and waitress explained we had it worked out, but manager said nope we couldn’t stay at the table (with a smirk and no attempt to help find other seating) …. So out the door we went to enjoy nice meal at Frankie G’s.
