Office Pub & Steak House reviews
20By far, it is the worst place I've worked for. Place is disgusting and roach infested. Food management is horrible, and things aren't properly used or stored. Causing for spoiled food being sold. Or raw chicken being held above other products in the walk-in. Vegetables aren't always washed. Or the salad has carrots that haven't been skinned properly. Use of out of date products like milk are often used. Boss is shady and will lie to you about all kinds of things, including money.
We had dinner Wednesday the 28th and Reuben was our server and did a wonderful job and the food was delicious and the free wings were a bonus.the only complaint I have is how long it took to get our beer from the bar and wished it was brighter in which was hard to read the menu.but I love to see the changes that have been made.we will be back for sure. I sure hope the other locals will start coming back. I will definitely spread the word.
Have just tried it for lunch. The smash burger was very good. Nice place, causal environment. Looking forward to going back at night and trying the ribeye.
Took forever to order. Waitress was more interested in socializing with one table. They were out of items I tried to order. Not even a remotely pleasent experience.
Great place. Good atmosphere. Good food. Good prices. Did I mention it was good? Oh, the biggest tvs you can get. Best coleslaw ever.
Horrible service. Changed the menu and raised the prices. Shame on them since it is the locals that give them the most business
I can't say we really had an experience here. My husband went inside where it was smokey. He asked if we could have a table on the balcony with our two dogs. They said no. There were people smoking out there too. Because of all the smoke and not allowing our dogs, we chose not to eat there.
Waited for half an hour and nobody greeted or served us. There were acouple other people sitting outside but other than that the place was empty. It was our first time trying the pub, too bad we left without being served.
So the pub side is pretty nice. Friendly bartenders that provide great service and cheap beer.
The restaurant side just sucks. I ordered a ribeye steak meal, cooked at medium rare. An hour later they brought it out and it was way over cooked. The place was empty. I'm pretty sure I was the only customer there. The waitress, Hannah, only came to check on me once after taking my order and that was to bring my drink. Another person brought my overcooked food out. I probably won't be eating there again.
Had a takeout Burger & Fries. It was the best I have had in a very long time.
(Just hate having to smell the smoke from the pub. So, I have to get To Go. They are working on that. Looking forward to dining in.)
Fries were hot & well seasoned, burger was old fashioned flamed grilled, toasted bun as well.veggies were fresh and crispy
Great pizza, Can't wait for tomorrow's New Menu! Real grilled shrimp. Needs to have Nola bar b qued shrimp!
And or Steak and blackened shrimp on top!
Let me start with, our waiter was super nice! (not at all to be blamed for this) We ordered breakfast, and about 40 mins of us waiting the young man informed us it would be a few more minutes, an hour later we were still waiting! Needless to say we left. I might have been more understanding if they would have been busy. We will not be going back.
It's been a while since we last eat at the Office Pub, but it was AWESOME! Great food. Good prices with large portions.
Can't wait to go again.
The food was ok but not being able to order anything you want from menu on the day you want it is why only 3 stars. I wanted stake but could only have it on Friday and Saturday its Tuesday so no stake. Plus they need to bring the taco salad back. Hopefully the new owners get everything they way they want it or unfortunately I will have to eat somewhere else. The waitress did a great job though so that's a plus.
It's under new management. Will take a while to run smoothly. The dinner was okay and the 3 Salads were Nice. The Service a little slow but pleasant and was Correct!
Food was nasty and cold. One steak knife that my husband and I had to share. Got crab legs and nothing to cracks them with. Waited an hour before we even got our salad. No butter in loaded bake potatoe just sour cream. Cheese was all over the plate. Steak was over cooked. I do NOT RECOMMEND. Waitress was not even coming to check on us. Put our food down and left.
They used to have excellent pizza. The food is good BUT the last time we went the waitress took our order and after sitting there over an hour we asked about our food and they said they hadn't even STARTED the pizza. Asked to talk to the manager and they gave us a "discount" on our appetizer and drinks. That's some seriously poor service. I hope that is just one bad experience but given that they were hardly even apologetic I'm not going to give them a decent rating. Best of luck on eating here.
I’ll start by saying that MAYBE they were short-staffed because it was the Fourth of July, a Sunday morning. We got there at 9 am and sat down immediately. Half of our table hadn’t been bussed yet and we asked for it to be done.
There were a couple of other customers already seated. We were a group of 6 and two more joined us shortly after. It took about 10-15 minutes at least for the waiter to take our drink and meal order. We ordered coffee with creamer…no creamer arrived.
Our food finally arrived in stages starting at about 10: 05. No coffee warmups were offered. We also had to ask for our eating utensils. We asked for catchup…. Nope.
Two of us ordered the Southwest Breakfast Bowl and a regular Breakfast Bowl. We got the smallest serving of hash browns, peppers, shredded cheese, maybe onions that I’ve ever seen and definitely NO SCRAMBLED EGGS OR SAUSAGE which were supposed to be in it. One person received her pancakes and scrambled eggs plate which had already cooled off to where she couldn’t eat it. One person was missing a pancake. One person had inedible congealed gravy on his biscuit and undercooked looking bacon. This guy NEVER leaves bacon so it had to be bad. Everyone’s food was at best lukewarm. The people who did get patty sausage found it to be very over cooked, hard and dry.
The young man who waited on us apparently was struggling to wait on the couple tables he had. A lady bussing tables kept apologizing repeatedly to new customers walking in “we’re struggling to catch up, it’ll be a while before we can get to you”
This is the second or third time we’d eaten here. While we remember the service to have always been slower, the previous meals were good. I’m going to chalk this visit up to unusually short staffing on a holiday and an inexperienced or indifferent cook perhaps. It really wasn’t the waitstaff’s fault. They were doing the best they could considering. And they always seem to pay the price for subpar food. We may or may not come back if they’re still in business.
Came down for Father's day haven't been here in over 20 years and it still doesn't disappoint! Daughter and I had our own pizza's. Son had the double Angus burger and wife had the shrimp basket. All of it was delicious. Bartender was very friendly and atmosphere was great. We won't wait 20 years to come back down agian. Also there is always free beer.tomorrow!
Very nice "local" bar & restaurant that gets a good mix of out of town travelers too. Great service, cold beer & great food!
