Old St Louis Chop Suey, Florissant MO

Best chinese food in town hands down. I ate here often growing up with my grandma and it hasnt changed in the slightest. I recommend the hot braised chicken, special fried rice, and eggrolls that are handmade. My dad loves their st pauls. The chicken is served as whole chunks of chicken not a bunch a fat and breading like others places. Ive taken many people here and even my friend who adamantly doesnt like chinese food loved it and now craves it.

I love their food is always hot and fresh. The only negative thing that I will say is that they are terrible at answering their phone, so tou really can't call ahead of time. However, like I said the food is good and the staff is always respectful
never had a problem with them.

I absolutely LOVE the food here! I'm pretty sure it's literally a 'Mom & Pop" owned restaurant (and hopefully it is) so I get food from there as often as I can. If you place your order over the phone, sometimes you can have a little trouble understanding the person on the phone (english is not their 1st language) but they have never gotten my order wrong! Their egg rolls and Low Mein are my go-to but EVERYTHJNG I've had there has been very good! On top of all of this, the food is very reasonably priced, especially when compared to fast food or sit-down type places. In fact, I've found it to be the most reasonably priced place to eat of all places near me. I highly recommend Old St Louis Chop Suey! If you give them a try, you may just find your new favorite!

Its been a long time since I been here. Not as good as it use to be. It is okay. I would try something different.

After trying to call for 10min repeatedly, was told the menu item we wanted (Mandarin chicken) wasn't on the menu. It was listed on the online menu. Very disappointed.

Every time I call. You all are on the other line or not answering when it’s ringing. I suggest upgrading to a VOIP phone so you can have multiple calls come in at once and I also suggest that you shouldn’t leave the phone unattended just in case there are local customers calling you 10 plus times.

I paid for a shrimp St. Paul and in my first bit i got a gristle, what i think is a fish bone and piece if beef. NEVER GOING BACK. And i callibg the health department.

Awesome classic Chinese restaurant with friendly employees who serve awesome food, love the chicken fried rice with hot and sour soup! My go to choice when I'm in the mood for some traditional St. Louis style chinese food!

My husband and I ate egg rolls, crab Rangoon, cashew chicken and some shrimp fried rice. This Old St Louis Chop Suey is definitely the best Asian food I’ve had since the last time I ate there! Nobody makes egg rolls like they do. They are made there, fresh daily, not frozen like a lot of places and you can taste the difference. I won’t eat egg rolls from anyplace else. The shrimp fried rice is loaded with shrimp It was all delicious. I’ve eaten at other places with the same name but they are not the same. This one is the best!
