15This concept is a great, but every time I walk into this location, there are at least 100 bins and it is incredibly overwhelming. It does not offer a shopper friendly feel. I'm talking every season, not just this month. There are loads of bins sitting all over the store. I have started going to the other locations because they seem to be able to manage their buys and sell to the customers (without taking up the whole location up with inventory) without the overwhelming atmosphere. Lees Summit's loss.: (
Called the store to ask if they were accepting children’s clothes and shoes they said yes but did not inform of the hours to which they stop buying things. Which was very inconvenient seeing how the information is not available online so it would be nice to be informed of such pertinent information when calling. I took my 2 year old with me, getting him out of the house and dragging him around places isn’t easy and taking him into a children’s store just to have to turn right back around - causing my poor baby to start crying. Total inconvenience and not even worth another trip to the store! Rather donate than inconvenience myself again and waste the gas money! Would give em a zero if I could
Super frustrating when it comes to selling things to this store. I dropped off two giant plastic totes with items that still had tags and was in great shape for the upcoming season. However out of two totes they took 12 items and gave me $13. Everything that was basically new was returned. I also had many sets of PJ’s in the totes as well and none was taken which trust me they need some out on their floor because what they have out on the floor was in okay condition along with the bare stock available to purchase. They also got rid of the text notifications to let you know your pile of clothes had been looked through and was ready for pick up. Wish this store was managed better.
Shopping there is great and all, but selling stuff there is a big NO for me. They low ball whatever stuff you bring in to sell to them. Some years ago I was told they don't go over $20. And the person that told me that had an attitude and was looking at me like she didn't want me there smh. I sold some items again and got low balled by items I was selling, so NEVER AGAIN! I also feel like it depends on who you are! Im going to try overland park store they might be better than lees summit. Hopefully they look at me as a person selling items for a fair price.
I come here all the time. Not enough good things to say about this place. Highly recommend!
There’s so much variety to pick from & sizes up to 14! I’ve been shopping at this store for over 7 years, I’ve never been disappointed!
I shop here multiple times a year and wouldn't dare going back to buying from big box stores. Here the clothes are name brand (not that this really matters, but to some it does), cheaper, and more sustainable. Plus the points system comes in clutch when school shopping. Will continue to be a loyal customer.
Ive sold here before and all went well, this was my second time here (they didn’t take anything which is ok) but I give two stars because regans attitude was nasty and I didn’t appreciate how rude she was until I’d asked for her name
This is the second time I have wasted gas coming down here that could have been simply answered by a phone call but they don't, answer their phone. I'm not going to this location anymore.
Haven’t had a lot of luck now that we’re grown out of 3-4T over the last couple years. I try to visit once every season to see if there’s anything that catches my eye, but have not had a lot of luck in the sizes we need. I shopped for size 6/7 most recently. Almost everything was very faded, heavily worn, and a lot of items had a lot of stains and matting. I’m not expecting them to look like they would if I bought them straight off the shelf, but I feel like the Overland Park location has a far better selection for my needs.
Every location seems to be the same they low ball you when they know it’s good stuff. And won’t take things claiming they have stains, but when you look around the store so many things have stains. I believe it depends on who you are. SMH!
Wish they didn't advertise that they buy anytime. Follow your competition and set specific buy hours. It's utterly disappointing to get told to come back tomorrow multiple times when trying to sell stuff.
Can't go wrong with gently used kids clothes for a great price! The staff are so nice.
Super organized with their products. Selling items and clothing is easy. The staff is really nice too.
Just dropped of stuff to sell after calling. They did explain they are short staffed and it would take longer. I said I was not in any rush and just whenever they could get it was fine. I understand that everyone is short staffed. They asked what I had I said two ikea size bags and a laundry basket she said okay. Then there are two girls at the front who are VERY rude both have long down hair. We’re very upset about bags which I understand is policy but I didn’t know that and said I had bags when I called. She said “no bags next time. You need to pick up by close. ” Not a good experience at all.
