1 First visit in June 2023. Nice facility with ample room for instruction and service. Comfortable, cushioned pews. Large monitors that display hymn lyrics. For the people aspect, I was impressed with the friendliness and warmth of all I encountered.
The Pastor Beauchamp is well-spoken and conveys his sermon in a clear voice with excellent enunciation. He makes the content of his sermon easy to understand. His sermon s energetic and lively without being overdone as a few pastors/preachers/ministers etc.do. Sure, the overly-done presentations are wanted and needed by some folks, and that is great! But other folks want a more placid sermon yet one that remains engaging. That is what I found at Orchard Crest Baptist Church.
Quality folks and quality preaching in a comfortable environment is what awaits the visitor at this church. I remain a wanderer, going from church to church, experiencing variety in religious thought and practices. I have not found a permanent religious "home" and may never find one. If the time to "settle down" ever occurs, Orchard Crest is a possibility due to my positive experiences there.
