I highly recommend this office. Both Surgeon and Physician I seen was very nice and interested in what I had to ask or say. They was very helpful. The nurses, reception, and radiologist was all very helpful and polite.

9 months ago Dr Smith replaced my right hip! I was down for 5 weeks & back to work! But I've done home health since the 70s. And I knew what I had facing me in my recovery.
Can't wait to get a left tip done the 26th of December.

I am so grateful for the care I received with my knee replacement.

Trying to call Orthopedics Medicine all you can do is leave messages and wait for a real person to call you back. In my opinion this is a horrible way for a medical facility to operate. Made me feel like they were too busy for any new patients.

Avoid this place, and especially William Tshannen. We weere first time patients here. Never again. Mr Tshannen misdiagnosed my daughter's sprained ankle. Told us it was only a strain and that she could keep playing on it with Ibuprofen, and to come back in 2 weeks if it still bothered her. 4 weeks later, she still had pain so we came back. Had new doctor who actually bothered to examine the ankle and told us that it was a bad sprain and that she should have been off it all along. We were sent to PT to rehabilitate the ankle, costing us hundreds of dollars we would've avoided having to spend if Mr. Tshannen had bothered to get the diagnosis right in the first place. Spoke with Office Manager, but she continually refused to correct our bill unless we paid for yet *another* office visit. Ridiculous. AVOID THIS PLACE!

Absolutely love this office and ALL THE STAFF here! Very attentive and informative to all my questions and concerns.

8 months, three doctors, 6 cortisone shots later, having reactions to every one of them and was told by second doctor he had never heard of such a thing, my pain was so bad I beg for an MRI finally got it a week later I had to call to get my results because no one called me I had a torn meniscus this whole time the doctor comes in and said boy you are really tough you can handle that much pain all this time and that's all that was said but would not prescribed me anything for pain said it's against their protocols and that I would just have to wait for surgery I 3 wks. I called a week later asking for something because I was exhausted fighting this pain, nurse called me back and said I know the doctor will not go against protocol and when I asked about the protocol she said that he had been burned before in the past so therefore he doesn't prescribe any more pain medicine until the day of surgery I said that doesn't make sense to me could you better explain and let me speak with the doctor and she told me that know the doctor was busy and that's what he told her to say and also that my surgery is just a elective and that he doesn't have to do the surgery and that it's not a surgery that has to be done which made no sense to me and she talks to me like I was a child.
I decided if they don't care enough to be my doctor the ones that supposed to be professionals, that I couldn't and wouldn't trust them to take care of me during or after surgery. I'm now having to find another doctor outside of area because my INS lady said that they were the only doctors in St Joseph, and she said how sad that they monopolize this area
I'm still in pain and joints are full of fluid and going clear to KC to get help.

Dr. BRIAN Duncan did my first knee replacement. With very little difficulty, or pain afterwards, getting ready for new knee on other knee and Dr Trease took time to explain xrays, and disadvantage of the shots and replacing the joint. We discussed this and decided on tkr.

I was seen in July. They were wonderful. Got an MRI within two days which help with my diagnosis. I can’t express how caring they are!

My appointment was on time. The receptionist was polite and respectful. My medical problem and treatment plan where discussed throughly with Dustin the Physician Assistant and I left confident of being on the pathway to recovery.

I will give 2 stars until they start having better customer service. I have no problem with the care that my doctor physically gives me for the most part however, any time you have to reschedule they have the rudest attitude and they don’t even see when you want to reschedule they just schedule you on a date and time and if that doesn’t work for you, then you have to reschedule again, but then they make it your fault that you have to reschedule. I got a survey sent to my phone like they were gonna quit being my doctors when I had a doctors appointment for a few days after that then my medical ride canceled on me so I had to cancel my appointment. And now they’re telling me that I’ve rescheduled too many times so it’s important for me to make my appointment. All part of the reason why I was going to see him was because I have a bad back some days I cannot even move out of bed.to get up out of bed then I’m really not able to make an appointment and keep an appointment. I also reported an incident with the guy that does the MRIs months ago how he was making me feel uncomfortable with some things he was doing and I reported it and not once has anybody got back to me. I don’t have too many complaints about the doctor himself. They definitely need to be working on their support. They should be asking people if I schedule you for this time and date. Would you be able to make that not just schedule it for a time and date that you are unable to do and then make it look bad on you because you have to reschedule it. And they definitely shouldn’t have an attitude with you every time you try and speak with them at the front desk. It is always the same girl that calls and has. Kayla is very rude whenever she calls or whenever you have to call their. If you literally tell them you don’t want morning appointments I’ll try and still sent you for morning appointments. If you send a message and say I can’t make this appointment because I called into work it’s OK to get text to the phone those still call you and ignore your request to send a text and call. And then she’ll get an attitude with you about it.

I highly recommend Dr Sigrist. He listened closely to my concerns, patiently answered my questions and was very thorough in examining my problem. He has a kind and caring personality.

I was very impressed in Saint Joseph outpatient surgical center. Everyone on my carotene on my care team was very easy to talk to, and understand, and they were all very attentive to my needs. I would recommend SJOS to any one of my family members or friends. Dr. John Weitlich is a top-notch surgeon with an excellent bedside manner.

Always excellent care and always great about answering any questions I have had. Recommend these guys to all who may have an orthopedic problem!

He gave me the first epiderm injection, and it only helped a little, but the second one helped almost immediately.
