I had a great experience here. The employees were super kind and helpful. Sadie was very attentive to my needs and helped me find the perfect pair of shoes for my arch problems, i can definitely see that she cared about having the perfect comfortable shoes for me. I definitely will be coming back and recommending this store to friends and family.

Clean, well organized little store with a nice product selection! Fun to look around in. And they’ll work with you on ordering gear you need if they don’t have it in stock. Customer service is attentive and helpful. However I’ve noticed the past few times, the big guy who’s always there is pouty and just straight up rude to the poor other workers, to the point where it’s very noticeable from a customer standpoint. It makes the shopping experience uncomfortable. If you’re going to bully your coworkers, at least don’t do it in front of all the customers in the store. Just writing this hoping to bring it to the attention of management so this can be looked into.

If you want expert advice from people who care about the world they work within then this is the place. Highest quality of products and service to match. Considered buying a lot of my products online but after stopping in to see what they offer and ask questions it was a no brainer that this is where I want my money to go. Any slight increase in cost I may pay is massively outweighed knowing I have exactly what I need.

I went in to look for hiking boots. The lady was really helpful and attentive, and helped me try on multiple pairs while explaining pros and cons. I’m kind of picky and due to the market there weren’t tons of options—anyways I ended up loving a pair but when I tried them on we realized my foot is too wide for those to be comfortable for me. She could’ve just sold
them to me but she recommended that I find a shoe that’s wider so I can have good circulation while
hiking. That built my trust with her and if I need to get gear in the future I’d love to try them out again.

Highly recommend shopping there for all your outdoor and hiking needs. They are local and super friendly.

The best place in the Springfield area to get any outdoor equipment. I have bought clothes, hiking boots and backpacks here for years. The employees work with you to find what you need for hiking.

They have a great mix of higher end/quality clothing, camping gear, rock climbing items and water sports.
Great selection of sleeping bags and tents as well.
I’ll definitely be returning again.

This is not a camping store! It's 85% high-end clothing. Like there is a demand for that in Springfield. They had 3 tents and about 10 backpacks on display, up a LONG staircase, at MSRP or more. Don't waste you time.

They seemed to have less specialized clothing on this visit. I didn't find hiking pants in his size. It seems like there was more selection the last time I went.

Great little store for all your long and short term camping needs! I think they even have boats inside. The staff was helpful and pleasant! I will definitely return!

I bought some climbing gear for my business that we didn't end up needing. I read on the receipt I had 30 days to return my gear and it didn't say anything about not accepting climbing gear back as return items. I went in to try to return $300 worth of gear and someone at the front desk told me that the gear was non-returnable when it didn't say it on the receipt. If I would have known this I wouldn't have bought anything so now I have $300 worth of gear that I can not use and wasted funds.
