Ozark Riverfront Campground & RV Park, Van Buren MO

Great campground! Lots of room. Beautiful float. Current River is my favorite So clear and beautiful blues.

Just got home from a 3 night stay here, basically had the place to ourselves in mid September. Great location to stay and paddle the river. Updated utilities for the full hook up RV sites were nice. Clean level gravel RV sites. Yes its close to US-60, but it didn't bother us as we were just using it as a "base camp" to float different sections of the river. 10/10 will stay again!

Don't take your sxs. This place is a trap! Great customer service, I received a phone call from the so-called owner of this campground yesterday about this post. I'm entitled to my opinions. He cussed out my wife & was calling her names. This is real customer service! Not a place where a person needs to go. 1 star is too much for this place. He can't even get his story right, who mentioned anything about drinking?

We've stayed here several times in the past so obviously like the park, this experience was a little less enjoyable than past. Location is excellent in Van Buren, MO literally on the river, if your doing a current river float. It is also literally directly on the opposite side of the river from The Landings who does all the drop offs and tube rentals if that is how you are floating. We personally bring our own and have 2 vehicles so don't need transport. This trip was kind of loud at the campground which I don't typically mind, but was early morning this go and we were trying to sleep in since last weekend before school starts, but that's not the campgrounds fault. Also they typically have really good bath house. Setup fantastic and very clean. This trip there were a couple of times we went in n it wasn't as clean as we could expect or toilets were backed up so you couldn't use them. We never went to office for these things or I'm sure they would have been addressed, but they got addressed reasonably quickly either way. Great friendly office staff. Great trip, no doubt we will be back next year.the only reason that the little things bother me some here are that it is so expensive to stay I'm sure reasonable to the others in area, but nothing on site and they charged us $20 for 16 yr olds over 2 people and 10 for 15 yr old over our 2 people, per night. Seams extreme when their are no activities on site. Camper spots are full hookup so that is nice.

I see a few negative comments about this camp ground and this is our second stay with no issues at all! It is a little high compared to our camp grounds at home but that should be expected because of the great location! Right across from the Landing where most people go for their float trip. We tent camped in spot 26 and loved it. Very close to the restroom and showers which were clean and stocked the entire 4 days we stayed. The owner is very nice and checked on us everyday to see if we needed anything or just to say hello. The owner is very accommodating and I don’t know why anyone would have a harsh word to say about him! He let us change our reservation at the last minute due to a death In the family and let us choose our spot when we arrived and set up on the grass due to recent rain they had. I highly recommend this campground for families we had my 11 year old son and his friend with us and their were plenty of families already there with young kids having a great time riding their bikes and swimming in the nice swim area. You should ignore the bad reviews and try it. I think the bad reviews were by people who caused problems.

We had a great time! Caleb, the owner was so accommodating! Thank you for such awesome hospitality! We did have a bad storm first night but we enjoyed listening to the rain once we got tents setup, lol! We will definitely be back! We brought 6 people, tent camping, restrooms were kept up and showers. Very clean & family friendly campsite! The landing is directly across too which is perfect if you plan on renting and riding with them. I have truly fallen in love with Van Buren and the Current River!

Caleb (the owner) is the man no other words.no doubt this is one of the best places to stay in town if your camping or have a travel trailer. Right next to the river, fire pits, and the best hospitality i have ever encountered and to top it off the place is amazing. Can’t wait to be back.
