I cannot say enough about this place. It was a magical place that is kept up by the community. What a gem. Beautiful trails and creeks and a darling playground for kids.

We visited during one of their events and my grandsons had a great time exploring the exhibits and making various nature related crafts. The only disappointment was the lack of seating close to the food vendors.

There are two trails. Liked the trail in trees. Good for bird watching, in particular the hummingbirds.

My wife and I found out about the Nature Center when we were staying the night in Rolla while on a road trip. She loves trails and nature reserves, and we just had to go and see it. Very impressive!

This is a pleasant natural area. We stop for picnics on drives between St. Louis to Springfield. There are lots of wildflowers in the woods. We like the whiteboard they have with markers for people to post what they find on their visit. We have walked some of the trails and enjoyed the scenery.

Great short nature hike. Kid friendly, pet friendly, quiet very safe place to walk in nature. Trail can get a little muddy in the rainy season.
