Parkville License Office reviews
23Jennifer in Licences did a fantastic job getting everyone in and out. I did have to come back because i needed another form of address but still took maybe 30 minutes to wait. She worked two people at a time to keep the line moving.
There's 30 people waiting and 2 people working a very long line. There are two employees sitting in the office. They need more staffing.
If I could give less than one star I would this DMV is so unprofessional and everyone who works here is so rude and untrained you can just tell, they try to make you jump through hoops to get things done even during a pandemic and the Northtown DMV is so much more reliable dependable and easier to work with
Thank you to the employees here for trying to get folks in and out safely. Good experience here. I did a bit of research and took the tip to avoid first of the month and go in the afternoon. I went in mid-week and there was only 2 people in front of me. My driver’s license renewal took 5 minutes, and my total time in was maybe 15 minutes- thats a record for me. Luckily, I had looked up what I needed beforehand and HEADS UP- it is (way) more than you might think! So, thanks again to the workers for doing an often thankless job.
All I did was ask a question and the dude was rude thank god I hardly have to go in their. Beware they won’t help you if you have questions.
"I'm going on lunch". This is what the counter person told me and six other people when I got to the front of the line. This was after I had already waited 30 minutes in line. There wasn't anyone taking her spot, so we all stood there and waited, to renew our car tags. Finally, a lady came over from car titiles and started helping us. Ridiculous. Prepare to wait.
Drivers license side - has anyone ever seen Zootopia? The sloths working at the dmv? That is the people that are operating the license counter at this location. For once I wish I was renewing tags and not my drivers license.
Amazing efficienct staff. Helpful and friendly. Makes going to the DMV a normal routine stop rather than a drawn out and dreaded process!
Train your employees. I've went to this same DMV for 5 years and have renewed my motorcycle permit 4 times there. NEVER have I ever had to bring anything in but my old permit. Waited for 50 minutes today just to get called up and told I need proof of residency. I doubt I'll ever go back now.
Only one employee for title registration with 14 people in line. Left after 20 minutes and very little movement in line.
An hour and still sitting waiting to renew drivers license. This doesn't describe your website accuracy of being fast. Not enough employees to work with such a high volume of population enters this establishment. You have to computers assessable for the drivers license area and only one slow person working.
Poor ethics for your website of being fast.
Called in to confirm what I needed to bring in. Brought that in. Waited in line for two hours on a Saturday. Get to the counter and they tell me I do not have what I need. Maybe educate your staff better.
I'm kind of wondering why I go here anymore. I think it's time for a change. I always go prepared and needed to do some title work, so I read up on the signatures needed on the MO DMV website. Just to double check myself, I went to this office and had a young man show me where and what to sign. I get the necessary signatures from an out-of-state party (pretty big inconvenience, mailing the title, money to mail title securely and safely, etc.all wasted), bring it back in today and get told at the same office, albeit a different worker, that it's the wrong thing and I need to get another area signed. Ugh.
This isn't even counting the fact that I had to debate a manager (I assume a manager - they all dress so casually) during a separate visit about what the MO DMV told me with regards to some driver's license changes and that, despite her "thinking" it was incorrect, I was going to defer to the actual DMV's expertise. This place used to be great and friendly and super efficient, but I just feel like it's gone downhill in a big, big way the past year or so.
The first time I visited this office a couple months ago to license my car was excellent.the staff was friendly, everything went quickly, and I was fairly satisfied with my experience by the end of it.
The second time, yesterday, was entirely different. Right after licensing my car I went online and requested personalized plates.a couple weeks ago, I received an email from the DOR in Jefferson City with all the requirements for picking them up. I was told in said email explicitly that all I needed if I was not renewing my expiration (which i do NOT need to do considering the fact that I just licensed my car) was my title and the plates I was surrendering. The woman I spoke with then proceeded to tell me that I HAD to have all the extra stuff I was told I didnt have to have because I had to renew even though that's not what I wanted to do. After some back and forth I finally gave up and left, only to call the NKC DMV as well as Jefferson City and have them tell me that all I needed was my title. And the plates. I was surrendering. JUST like I thought. So just maybe the staff at this location should be trained a little bit better.
This place used to be good.now it is not.not enough people working.every time I have been there the license line has been crazy long.and there is only 2 people working? ! Hire some people!
Staff is adequate at what they do but they're demeanor towards customers is awful. Especially the young "woman" who will get nasty and unpleasant to work with if you dont acknowledge "her" correct "gender identity" (mental illness) correctly. Very unpleasant to deal with aside from an otherwise well run dmv.
They never answer the phone here no matter what. Tried to come get my new car tagged today doors are locked no sign that says closed due to weather etc etc.
The state of Missouri should consider shutting this one down and starting a new one. Everything they have there seems like it's from the 90s. When I've called in the past to gather info no one answers wait 20 minutes call again no answer. They even add a charge to pay with your card.
Quickest, most painless DMV experience I've ever had. The staff was a bit friendlier than what I normally run into at a DMV. I will use this location from now on!
My experience with DMV’s in Missouri has been fairly positive. If you’ve never lived outside Missouri, then you can appreciate the short wait times Missouri DMV’s have. I was a little surprised today at this DMV because there were only two people ahead of me but they only had one person working the counter. There were several people walking around in the back and then one finally came and started working the counter. Not sure why they waited so long when there were people waiting in line but overall the service was good.
