Paul & Jack's Tavern, North Kansas City MO

A neat place we just came upon. The menu had something for everyone, this was a weekday and they had 2 lunch specials that looked absolutely delicious. The hostess was very nice and accommodated our request to sit outside at a table even though we were the only ones out there. The server was very personable abd knowledgeable with items on the menu and it's quite a large menu. The food was done in perfect time and was very good. Try the Cuban sandwich and sweet potato fries. Everything was very fair priced. It's a neat place, I'm glad we came upon it. We will definitely go back

Had food and a beverage and listened to live band while waiting to go to the late night double feature picture show, by RKO!

Best place for a small reunion, gathering of a few friends or just dinner. Service is 1st rate.

Here's the deal. If you're gonna have live music expect a big crowd. That's why you booked the act right? It shouldn't take all night to order drink or food. If somebody orders a bucket of 5 beers put more than 6 ice cubes in the bucket. (You know so the beers stay cold). Music was really good but this place suuuuuucks. 2nd time hearing this band at this spot. Bad experience both times. Waited until it sucked twice to leave a bad review. (Edit after owner response.) I didn't come there to work. I came there to have a cold beer and listen to some music. Your inability to run your business is the problem. Don't deflect, as if me not serving tables there is the problem.

They have great food. We love being on the hugh back patio area for concerts. Just a great overall place to party

Just went with some coworkers for drinks. Prices where decent. Didn't order food but heard it was good.

The live music, decent beer and laid back seen kept me from killing myself the night I went there. Aside from the smell of dead animal, Paul and Jacks are a five star man.

Old style Tavern / Restaurant. Good food. Great vibes. Great atmosphere. Music on weekend nights in outdoor area in the back. Did I mention cold beer. Great place for all.

Classic neighborhood bar. Welcome you like old friends, make sure your glass is never empty, and don't judge. Two birthday parties while we were there. Wings and chips were good.

We came for the band, Cherry Bombs, who rocks! They need more bathrooms and more than one way to get in and out of the patio area. Other than that, it was great! Good service and nice people there.

Good tavern feel. Went back to my reliable Italian Steak. Spicy cheese curds are a must. Always great friendly service.

We were only in town for a couple hours and needed a place to eat. We saw pretty good reviews for Paul & Jack's Tavern so we decided to give it a try and I'm glad we did. We were met by friendly servers who were attentive and helped recommend some of their menu options. The food was fresh, hot and delicious! The mozzarella sticks were phenomenal and the burger and fries were just as good. Pricing was very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Definitely plan to return whenever we're back in town.

Good food, good service, beer on tap is cold. Live music on Friday and Saturday night. Good local regular spot.
