Penn Valley Park reviews
12Had a blast here with my boyfriend after a Shania Twain concert! We did crack, smoked weed and shot up whiskey and made love to our favorite song (candy shop by 50 cent) while the teens watched from the bushes and called the cops. They joined in when they arrived instead of arresting us. Conceived our first child. KCMO police are the best. (Officer Kyle owes me child support) Good times.
A perfect place to go for picnics or walk around or go on a date. Gorgeous area to be in with a perfect view of downtown!
ONLY WW1 Memorial and Museum of it's kind in the US. Very informational. Sits on a hill overlooking Kansas City with beautiful park arounds it. Everyone should go visit here and learn some of YOUR/OUR history. You'll be surprised.
We had a great time. We checked out all the food trucks and kiosks. We chilled out in our chairs with a nice breeze blowing and watched the fireworks I love KC
It is the second time that I visit it, but now with my family, highly recommended when going to Kansas City.
Absolutely beautiful park. A large portion of it is dedicated to our Veterans (emphasizing WW1). The museum itself is an amazing testament to our support of a free world. Both sides of the conflict are very well represented, and really helps drive the message home for future generations to not make the same mistakes. I would highly recommend this for any military buff or any general history geek. It's an amazing trip into 1914-18.
Beautiful park with a lot of land and well kept grass and trees. If it’s super hot and sunny, there isn’t a lot of shade but there are enough trees for a break every now and then. Public bathrooms are available, but not at every parking lot.
The skating is great. Not for beginners but lots of space and a nice deep bowl.
The only issue is the homelessness in the immediate area. It doesn't always feel very safe. I wouldn't let my kid go alone, that's for sure.
Very good park to walk around in. Glad it’s so close to the memorial so I can go there too!
It's always fun hanging out around the park and the Liberty Memorial. The grounds are well taken care of. They put a really nice effort into putting the grounds back together after large events like the NFL Draft.
I really wish they would start doing the large concerts there again. Those were fun!

It was a great view of the city. This sits on the top of the hill, looking over Union Station. This looks north, and you can see the entire view of downtown. It is beautiful at night with all the lights.
This place is amazing. There is so much to see in this place. It's a nice place to bring the family.
