Love the accessibility of the boarded walking trail, the covered bridges isn't as accessible, but it's a beautiful spot to see
Stayed 1 night in our RV. Friendly staff at the park and the online registration people. Beautiful park, quiet, big level RV sites.
Nice park. Nice campground. Very well maintained state park with good trails easily accessed from campground.
Beautiful park well kept nice campground.boardwalk goes threw the woods along the creek and threw the grasslands.
Unbelievable. So strange to see a beautiful covered bridge in the middle of a mature forest, with no water running under it. Definitely worth the effort to drive here.
A hidden gem in the MO State Park system. Quiet & relaxing. The restrooms & showers were the cleanest I have ever seen. One of our top 5 favorite parks in MO.
Absolutely beautiful park. Peaceful and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.
Not sure on the guests but did have some flashing their lights at us around 9: 30pn while we were roasting hotdogs with the kids. We were all whispering and keeping the noise down but some seemed fussy that we were still up at that time.
All and all a wonderful trip and would recommend to anyone.
The boardwalk trail is beautiful. I highly recommend staying at the campground. The entire park is well maintained by friendly staff. Will be back next year!
Very quiet park. Small and peaceful. A few sites suitable for big rigs but most sites are made for 19’ or less. Choose carefully. Also, sites that claim shade on the website are in full sun 9-5. Night skies are beautiful and 99% of the campers are respectful and turn off LED lights over night.
Bathrooms and showers are fabulously clean and there are laundry facilities on site.
If all you want is peace and quiet, this is the place
Pershing state park is a godsend for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. It's a nice place to stop and have a nice walk.
Smaller MO State Park campground. Quiet, wooded sites. Several nice short trails with bridges and boardwalks through the wet lands and prairies. Good for bird watching.
Great place to camp. They offer electricity, water, a dump station, nice showers and even a laundry. Camp host is super nice!
