Phil was fantastic! He helped my brother and I pick out a fish for my nephew and helped answer ALL of our questions about the tank, filling the tank, food, supplies, caring for the fish, tank, and water. Absolutely everything you could think of! He was very approachable and knowledgeable about fish and you can really tell he wants you to take a home a fish feeling comfortable taking care of it. He deserves some recognition for all that he does!

I called 2 days ago about buying a ferret. Said they had 1 left. I asked age and if vaccinated. Maybe 9months and yes vaccinated. So I drove 1 1/2hrs to get there. They gave me no paperwork nothing on the ferret. Had to go back. They said they don’t do that. I was like you gotta have some type of paper work to prove vaccination. How old is he? Finally found the birth certificate the ferret was 14 months old. No vaccination records could ever b found. They said they don’t do vaccines. I said that’s awfully funny I went 15mins to another store to buy 2 more ferrets and they had all the paperwork I needed to give proper care to these ferrets. I definitely don’t recommend buying any animal from this Petco.

Awesome kind employees, got both my bearded dragons there. The only thing is I wish they had more options for reptile supplies and live food.

Store is ok and from what I heard from my mom, she was happy with her dog's grooming. My issue is that one night my gf and I came in later in the evening (store was empty) went to the dog bone aisle and an employee who was in the back of the store purposely came into the aisle acting like she was straightening up some items. Totally made me feel uneasy. Look I'm not the type to accuse people of profiling, but in this case I feel like she was and this location needs to educate their employees on how to be more discreet if they want to spy on somebody. The whole reason for this review is to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else in this store. If someone responds to this review from the store telling me that the employees were educated I will raise this review to five stars.

I just gotta say. Phil from the aquatics department was absolutely amazing! Such a friendly and approachable guy! He helped me acquire a Sailfin that I could tell he grew very fondly of! This is especially important to me as these fish aren't just fish, they are potential pets, and even more so; living creatures! So right off the bat, I knew Phil was a very compassionate guy and cared about his job and his care for these animals. He also helped me with a pair of clownfish and emerald crabs.
He first got to know me to make sure the tank I had at home would suffice for the Sailfin Tang I wanted to buy.
This is great because I can tell he both knew all about the hobby, but was also ensuring that I knew what I was doing as well to ensure these fish were going into a good home!
Phil did a fantastic job telling me more about the hobby and he even gave me some pointers, tips, as well as some suggestions of potential tankmates based on the size of my aquarium and the inhabitants I was about to purchase.
What really impressed me was that he even offered to show me that the Sailfin Tang was capable of eating which is important because an unhappy and unhealthy fish will tend to not eat or show any sign of interest in the food. He happily showed me and I knew I was getting a happy and healthy fish!
Without a doubt I felt fully confident in Phil's expertise and wisdom which was all topped with kindness and professionalism! I came all the way from Florissant where I have several Petcos within my vicinity, I have also been to several local fish stores (LFS) that did not even compare to the experience I had with Phil! I'm sure happy to have made it to this Petco in Creve Coeur in particular! I will definitely be coming back again and hopefully provide some nice photos of the new friends I've gotten today!

Dave is a great manager and Veronica is a helpful employee.

Veronica told me about a discount if I signed up for the rewards program.

I saved 8 bucks. Great job team.

Never buying crickets from here again. I bought and fed some to my bearded dragon last week and within 24 hours she was dead. She was 100% bright and healthy before feeding the crickets.

I have been taking my dog here for groom in for past 4 years. They usually always do a great job. There hS been a few times where I paid for shed x treatment and it was only the bare minimum

They do a good job up you definitely have to double check the results. My do dig ears are uneven and they didn't brush his tail out.

I had a great experience at the Creve Coeur store. Staff was so helpful when checking out, explaining saving opportunities I was not aware of.

We historically have loved this Petco location and have taken our dog there for baths and haircuts several times and didn't have a problem until the last 2 appointments. The first problematic appointment left our puppy with 2 cuts on his face. We were disappointed and worried but knew they were very busy so thought we would give them one more chance. This last appointment we asked for a bath and hair cut. We picked him up and while his hair was washed and brushed out, it had not been visibly cut at all. His hair was just as long as it was when we dropped him off. Additionally, with his hair brushed out, he could not see very well. My husband asked them if they could trim up the area around his eyes so he could see and they said no, they did not have the time. We were charged for a hair cut our dog never received. We are extremely disappointed with these last 2 visits and will not be going back.

Very helpful staff and managers at this store! Spoke to all of them and received help on products to buy and strategies/programs to save. Had some issues with their app, and the cashier and manager tried to help, then called the 800 number to sort it all out. It took a little while, but they were patient and all had a good sense of humor and helped me save about $50 today with rewards program and their new vital program, and much more in the near future. Great store and staff. And thank you to the cashier-my apologies for not getting your name-a young woman who stayed way beyond her shift today to help me navigate through everything! Highly recommend!

The store is small and options are more limited but the staff is helpful. It is a convenient quick stop for one or two items.

Their grooming department does a great job but the manager of the grooming department seems annoyed and in a rush whenever I drop off my dog. Also, the stores prices are higher than their online store, and to get them to match their own online store prices you'll have to look up each item online and show them the price. Petco, just have the same pricing at the store and online so customers don't have to go through the trouble of price matching. Thanks

Online site is a bit slow and clunky, but has most things at prices that will be matched in store.store prices are a bit higher on some items and lower on others, but they will match the online pricing if you point it out

this does make things a bit tedious, but they do have a good selection of things that are cheaper when you pick up in store.staff are generally pretty helpful and knowledgeable too so that is a plus
they have same day delivery for some items as well and pickup options

This has to be THE BEST pet store! I went in to purchase a gift for my friend’s new puppy and Phil and Ian demonstrated so much patience with my lack of knowledge. It was the best experience I could have asked for. Phil and Ian were extremely helpful and knowledgeable in providing assistance with my needs. An AMAZING team!

I literally will never return to this location. As a first time dog mom, they didn’t explain much to me regarding her grooming services. They literally spent approximately 30 minutes with her after saying the service should be about an hour and 30 minutes. She looked the exact same as when I dropped her off. Her nails were as sharp as when I left her. The groomer seemed clueless and lacked communication skills. I wouldn’t go to this location if you have a small puppy. Definitely wasted my time and money. And it was a rushed job, had to be. She is black and there is white residue all in her fur smh

Masks were worn. Clinician was very friendly and knowledgeable. She trimmed our dogs nails and we were finished. Schedule my next appointment for Doc's grooming. Excellent work and service.
