Pete's Market l St. Louis

I would not recommend. Food is expired and spoiled. I bought chicken from them a month ago. In the store it looked fine. When came time to cook it, a couple days later, and take it out of the package it was yellow and brown (yellowed chicken has salmonella). I bought some deli meat from them that was spoiled as well. When eating it, it tasted like garbage and not meat. Food is not fresh upon sale and I do not recommend because someone may get sick.

Staff was courteous and professional. However the place itself is dirty, and has a bad odor, like they have rotten food in their fridges. Looked at the product section, found different fruits with fuzzy MOLD. Prices were not as low as expected. This store missed the mark compared to Pete’s Market in Chicago.

I don't recommend anyone by meat from this location or any grocery store. Like it, they re blood they're meat. If it's old, they take it and dip it and blood again to make it look fresh. Repackage it and put it on display for sale. Even after that, if the meat is old and they re blooded it, They will reduce prices and still try to sell you the old product. Treat yourself. Don't cheat yourself.

I guess it's good for what it is but it always smells like spoiled meat in there. If that's from the butchers cutting meat fresh daily, then they need to clean daily! I mainly go for the homegrown veggies cause they're HUGE and definitely worth it!

This place has the most amazing selection of items in their meat and deli case. Fantastic soul food fixings and just the kind of items that you can't get at the "big stores".

This location is a block away from Aldi. I usually get as much as I can from Aldi and then head to Pete's for what I can't get. I love their 5 for $25 selections in the meat department. On Thursdays, you get a huge bag of free chicken leg quarters if you spend $50 or more.

I love the ladies who work here. They are so friendly and helpful and funny. Whenever I go in, I know I'm going to get good value for my money AND get a smile or end up laughing as I'm checking out.

This is one store where you usually can find what you need, however on 8/25/23 the young lady working behind the fish counter had a very unpleasant attitude I almost didn't purchase the fish

I was surprised to see some popular items on sale at a really good price. 9 times out of 10, I always find what I'm looking for there.

Be around a long time convenient need to work on the smell foul smell sometimes and get outdated products of the self unacceptable

Pete's is the place of what do you want to eat. If the rest of the groceries stores don't have it, go to Pete's. They have you covered!

Some people shouldn't work in customer service. Or any other people friendly atmosphere.

The store clean and the prices for the meats are at a good range for a person like me that has to shop on a budget.

Pete's is a store you can count on. If they don't have it they will order it for you!

It a very good place to shop the price is right and the staff are very friendly and you can get all that you need right there it is a good experience going through

The customer service is horrible for the cashiers are less than perfect with their senior citizens. I would not recommend this store to anyone.
