My dog is terrified of getting his nails done and although we didn’t finish them all I appreciate that he wasn’t forced! We will be back again in the future to try again! Very friendly staff and understanding

I use Petropolis for doggie daycare and boarding. She is very tired and happy after coming home. Has a busy day and still always wants to go back. Employees are helpful and courteous.

Very nice place to take your dog for grooming. Helpful, courteous, employees, and a excellent haircut for your dog. Lots of room inside the building, you're not standing on other people's toes. Will return.

Amazing staff good quality people and the price is very reasonable and they go out of their way to make your pet happy and you happy also keep up the good work!

I took Sampson (my newly adopted 2 year old Bichon rescue) here today for his first appointment and they were great! He was really scared but they took their time with him and he looked amazing! It is a little pricier than other grooming places but I think the care they provide/ how they take their time with them is definitely worth it - especially if you have a dog who doesn’t do well at the groomer. The girls at the front desk were also really friendly! Will definitely be returning.

Our groomer Nathalie was amazing. She was so patient and made sure Zuri was totally comfortable throughout the process. This was Zuri’s first full grooming session and I would say it was a success! Thank you Petropolis for making our puppy look great!

When we tried to drop off our dog for boarding, they canceled the reservation because our dog was "nervous during orientation". We received 2 separate boarding confirmations between orientation and the boarding date, so we expected our pup to be boarded there with no problem. Now, we have to cancel holiday plans, as it is extremely difficult to find boarding arrangements so last minute. Petropolis prides themselves with an "Empowerment" philosophy for their dogs yet excludes any dog that isn't already confident.

Shameful and misleading communication practices.

We have an older dog and I didn’t want to leave him with just anybody to be groomed! They were very welcoming and I felt comfortable leaving him there! They did a wonderful job with him!

My 13 year old dog has become
Anxious as he ages which made home baths not fun and exhausting especially given that they are required due to skin allergies. Petropolis got is quick enough and he did great! And he is happy! We made a second appointment. I definitely recommend them. And Jackie did a great job making him feel at ease. Thanks!

I love this place and so does my dog! Definitely worth the money and the staff truly loves the dogs they work with.

Amazing experience. Kind staff, pricing is a bit high (~$45 a day for daycare), but my dog is run out of energy when he comes home and he has a great time.

I was recommended this company by a friend who has used them before for his dogs. I'm a new dog owner and this place was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and definitely happy to see my friendly pup.

They gave my pup a cleaning and the price was quite amenable for the short stay I needed for him.

I'd like some details/pointers from then to correct my pups misbehavior in group play, but I have no other comments aside from one:

If you are not present early for checkout, you will be charged an extra day, as that's just how their scheduling/routines work. Just a heads up, try to pick up when the business opens and you should be fine, ask the workers for specifics on that.

Our dog Trudy has been going to Petropolis for about a year and a half now. We always love how they really treat her like one of their own and everyone knows her! This week we were out of town and Trudy had some medical concerns (non-contagious) and they acted promptly. Alexus and the team went above and beyond. They got her treated and kept us updated the entire time. They also made sure they washed items that got dirty because of her being sick. They were never annoyed that we couldn't come get her but they did all they could to take care of her just like we would! Thank you to the wonderful team!

Petropolis always does a beautiful job grooming our golden. They are kind, professional, and the facility is so clean!

This is am awesome place for your four legged loved one. My Bichon Stella is going there since she is 9 month. Now today she is 2 years and I am amazed to see their celebration. They presented a gift to her and this card. Every time Stella comes from daycare with happy face.
Not only these, they capture awesome photos of her on every birthday and send us. This is how they celebrate.
