This guy deserves all the stars and more! Very rare you have a shop go up and beyond to make sure everything is good and done right. He’s done some work on my rx8 w exhaust and a tune and also troubleshooted my 84 rx7 and got it all back on the road nice and smooth w a new gas tank.will alway recommend any rotary head to come here if they need any help! I’ll definitely will be coming back here

I've been in automotive scene for 25+ years especially in the rotary world. I am going to say the owner is a stand up guy. Whoever the idiots posting negative reviews aren't even in the scene nor been in the rotary world long enough to know who have lasted so far. Support the owners like Ernie! We need more of him for this community to continue!

The work seems fine, but incredibly dishonest ownership. I wouldn't trust them with anything long term. There are better options in the midwest that would be worth the extra drive time.

Update:
The owner was very unprofessional and immature in response to how they handled the sale of a vehicle, and it is a direct reflection of how they handle their business here. Again I would proceed with caution for any long term work.

If you own a car with a Rotary engine…Ernie is a MUST KNOW for you! We purchased one of Ernie’s personal cars for our son in 2020. Not only was the RX8 in excellent condition when he sold it to us but he also maintained the car for us over the next 2 years that we owned it. He was always available anytime we needed him, very honest with whatever was needed, and incredibly well priced when he did any work. Like only charged us HIS COST when he had to purchase parts and charged minimal fees for his labor. I would never own a Rotary engine car unless I knew Ernie was available to help us keep up the maintenance. When we sold the car, we got more than what we bought it for and that owner now also maintains the car with Ernie! I can’t say enough great things! And while I do not know him personally, I do follow him on FB and his posts always show amazing character and integrity in his personal life as well! I would not hesitate to refer Ernie ever!

Phalanx rebuilt my 2006 6 port RX-8. Extremely honest and up front on pricing. Work was done in the expected time frame and even painted my rotor housings for free! Excellent work and attention to detail.
