Philly Time reviews
18The best Philly's hands down! I have tried other places and not one stands up to Philly Time. The food is always fresh and hot and cooked to order. The prices are right and the portions are a nice size.
Why can't you guys answer your phones? !? We always call in to place our order since we live all the way up in Smithville, but it's always a hassle because no one ever answers the phone except once in a blue moon. The website says you are open. We can't place an order on your website either because it says, "the website is unavailable for online orders" when you click to place an order. Uuuuuuugh! It's been this way for years. We really love your restaurant, but could you seriously fix these types of issues?
Food is absolutely amazing! Fresh ingredients with lots of flavor. Can’t wait to try other menu items.
Very rude, and disrespectful women working that answered the phone call, the lady couldn't even so much as answer questions regarding this place of business nor the items, they sell an serve, she made it seem like it was a nuisance. Now I can understand why they close early and have short staff. Teresa is a pure joke.
Staff really is efficient, and the food is amazing. Chick wraps feel healthy and steak sandwiches are best I've had in KC
Kind of disappointed, Ordered the Southside Philly, Not much meat on here and the cheese was cold, not something you want on a hot sandwich. Meat had little flavor. Bread was ok. Definitely not an authentic Philly.
Paid 15$ for honestly the most bland philly I've ever had in my life. Double meat Supreme with extra cheese. I don't even know if they season their meat. The bread was horrible, I think it was the buns they use for foot long hot dogs? The customer service was bad, they acted like they were doing me a favor. One of them was just patting meat in a container on the counter. Is this a secret prep technique? To be fair, I've done Doordash for these guys before and usually the owner is there. I feel like I should give them another shot when he is working and not the high school girls on the grill. Or maybe I ordered the wrong item? Until then I'm giving them a generous 2 stars for the strength of the portion size of the meat. (however I counted 7 pieces of diced onion, 6 pieces of diced green peppers, 3 pieces of mushrooms)
Their hours are horrible, we came in to eat dinner 6: 45 and we're quickly told they were about to close. Great.
Top quality natural ingredients, no fast food BS here. The owner and staff are great people too.
Food was okay but no where near the best Philly I've had. Also, very little meat or peppers for the size of the bread. I would expect a lot more from a place that it is their specially. Paid $10 for a basic Philly with no side and a water.
Not necessarily disappointed but I wouldn't go back or recommend it.
Really good Ribeye was used. The peppers and onions were just about perfect. Plus the roll stood up to the juices, plus just the right seasonings. The only draw back is no cheez whiz. I got into that a Geno's in Philly.
I stopped by to grab some lunch. Ordered Cajun wrap and side salad. Wrap was good- a lot of meat inside (chicken) and little bit of spicy ranch. Side salad was missing some tomatoes) it was like two pieces in there ️. Food was fresh and the service was quick.
Keeping it short they forgot the fries. Cheese steaks are still really good. Like the food. Shorted me fries. Check your orders before leaving.
I was actually impressed with the cheese steak here. I ate the shroom one with wiz. I'll go back for sure. The people are nice too.
Had the Deluxe Philly, it was good. Would have been 5 if there was more meat on the sandwich
You should be ashamed of yourselves! I’ve had an authentic cheesesteak in Philadelphia and this was not even close to being authentic. Might as well be a grilled cheese with the lack of meat on the sandwich. I won’t be wasting anymore money on these wannabe cheesesteaks. I do not recommend this place at all.
As a Philadelphian this was an upset. The cheese steaks are not made to order and it's only half a full one from back home with the price of a full size. They need to add platter's to the menu with cheese fries with cheese on the fries.
