Pie Guy Pizza reviews
14After living and working in New York and enjoying their pizza, Pie Guy is right up there with great New York style pizza.thanks Pie Guy
I loved the vegan pizza. PLEASE add a vegan cheese to the menu as well! The crust was just so delicious, and all of the toppings were soft and delicious. The service was fairly quick, and the employees were nice. The bar has a large selection for the alcoholic and non-alcoholic crowd.
Typically tastes better. Not sure what happened but it just wasn't really good this time around.
Excellent… I’m from NJ …worked in and around NYC most of my life … pizza is in my blood from birth…. Been longing for real pizza since moving to the mid west… this place is the real deal! Good people… good vibes… a bar…. Perfect…
Stopped in for a slice and it was everything I want in pizza. Large, foldable slices, slight crunch in the crust and fresh toppings. Friendly service and great tunes on the radio. I was also impressed with the nice variety of quality hot sauces available. I'll be back for more!
Went in yesterday afternoon to try their pizza for the first time. Wanted to get a slice of cheese and a slice of pepperoni but they only had 2 slices of veggie left in the case and they were completely out of dough! At 5 pm! How does a pizza joint run out of dough?
Disappointing
Finally got to try Pie Guy STL and this is THE BEST PIZZA in STL.
Pickup order recrisped on a pizza stone. WOW! Insanely crunchy crust and perfectly foldable. The toppings (bacon and pepperoni) were amazing quality. Smokey salty bacon and semi spicy CUP pepperoni. Greasy deliciousness! The cheese was abundant, stretchy and mouth watering.
Takes me back to the east coast for sure.
Not youre typical STL pizza and im so thankful. This and East Coast Pizza give me hope.
Also Knots were on point. Sheeeeeesh!
Loved it! Reminded me of New York style pizza. Thin, crispy crust with just the right amount of everything. We put leftovers in the oven and they baked up perfectly. We plan to go again. Great neighborhood and it was attached to a great beer pub (name in the photos) that offered small glasses at a great price… we tried a pineapple and a pink guava … both were great ️
Pie guy pizza is delicious. No provel. Good crust. Great ingredients. The garlic knots put it over the top. Also, the genuine goodness of the owners and staff. They're good people who look out for their community.
There's no way to order extra sauce when ordering online. Pizza is largely flavorless. Could benefit from some oregano at least. It's fine, probably better when you've been drinking, but for NY style, I vastly prefer Pie Guy.
Just ate here with my wife. Friend of ours gave us this recommendation and it did NOT disappoint. We had the green pepper and bacon pizza as well as the garlic knots. All I can say is—WOW! We also had red red hot honey and a chocolate chip cookie. Again—wow! The service,
especially the lady whom greeted us, we ALL very friendly. Connected to this place is a cool place to hang and order many, many different types of beers and wine. All in all truly wonderful meal. Oh! And that allow dogs! #bonus We’ll definitely be back!
Damn good slices.just got a plain cheese but yum
whole vibe is just dudes who love za wanted to sling slices, so they did.good stuff
Best slice of pizza in STL. And I’ve had a lot of pizza. Get a slice and go next door to Gezellig for a pint.
I want this to be a higher rating, but I also, wish I could get a more consistent experience with this pizza. I don't know if this is a cook turnover thing or what. When they first opened, the pizza was great, and then things went downhill. This summer, I revisted, and this was, hands down, my favorite local pizza. The veggie slice was amazing. Then they started changing up the topping on that, which wasn't so hot. In the past couple of months, things have been awful. The pie we purchased last night tastes like greasy rubber on a slab of limestone. My kid could have made a better pie. Did Pie Guy leave the kitchen? Please come back! I miss my favorite pizza!
