Tanner was the most knowledgeable and most helpful person I’ve met at planet fitness if your new please ask for Tanner! Only gym I’m coming too

Just dealt with an extremely rude employee named Fatya who got on a power trip bc I didn’t know I needed an appointment to use the tanning bed.

I love planet fitness, working out just makes me feel great takes away the tiredness and laziness Ive been having for several months now. It’s been a year since I worked out and I loved going back.

I love this gym. Coming from Washington where the staff was eh- seeing Tanner and Von makes things so much better! They are so friendly and have great personalities. I haven’t met the rest of the staff due to me going early mornings, but i truly enjoy this gym and they make it great too! The bathrooms are always clean, the equipment is great. Im happy to be at this location! It’s my home gym for as long as I'm here in the city

I was in KC visiting and came as a guest to this location. Tanner was incredibly helpful getting me setup as a guest and ensuring that I could continue my routine while in town. I will definitely be back to this location, and after the service I received will likely be joining PF when I get home to Chicago.

I went in to close my account that I never even used one time I paid 3 months for 27 something a month for the gold card so I could shower. Because at the time I lived in my car but things happen and I never made it there and I try to cancel the account but you have to come in person. And now they say I have to pay more to get my account zero before they will cancel my account. I'm having a hard enough time right now just trying to survive. But the fact that they didn't care or would not even try to help me so that I'm not charged more money I don't have. So please if you can help them I might change the 1 start but how I was treated that what I feel like it should get for my experience there with the staff.

I signed up for a Black Card membership. However, I realized this was not needed and downgraded my membership prior to the next bill being deducted from my account. I was then confirmed as a Classic member. However, I was still charged Black Card dues, with only access to Classic benefits. I called, and was told it was "probably" to close to the billing date, and no refund would be given, but I also would not have access to the Black Card benefits. What?

I was then charge an "Annual Fee" 2 months after signing up. I called, and did not get an explanation outside of I needed to speak to the manager. Sure, I'll speak to the manager. I was then told I need to come in to speak to the manager? Again, what?

I have found out the all Planet Fitness locations are individually owned, and there there is no corporate customer service to support locations.

0 Stars if I could. I came to this gym as it's closer. But the customer service is poor, at least when it comes to billing.
